Only stayed one night but found the accommodation ideal. the accommodation is based on individual cabin style but well designed and maintained. Our cabin offered separate bedroom, kitchen, lounge area and opened up onto your own veranda. Due to weather we never got to use the pool. We found the host helpful, friendly and informative. For meals you need a...

Quaint cottages, clean, comfortable and well-equipped. The pool is nice. Need a car to get into town and back if you wish to eat out. If desired, you could walk it. Lots of local information given to you at check-in: what to do, where to go, willing to book any activities, almost too much pressure after a very long day's...

This property is lovely - well maintained and in a nice area of town. Our host was welcoming and gave us many ideas on what to do in the area. Our cottage looked cute but is was modern and comfortable. There was plenty of room for 2 people, separate bathroom and a kitchen. Our main concern was that the living...

Had a 1 nighter for 4 adults and found the cottages amazing, lovely, well maintained, cozy, romantic, peaceful sleep. The hosts were amazing and friendly and good for local advice. Obvious they are people who care about the cottages and the business. We will come back here again for a longer stay as it was so nice and peaceful and...

Probably a little bit more expensive than most motels, but each cottage is separate so no noise from other people. Very spacious rooms, two bedrooms and big living dining kitchen area, and spacious bathroom with separate toilet. Away from the town centre but easily accessible by car. Delightful hosts who are very informative about the local area, where to go...

A beautifully maintained pool was down the back. Our hosts were lovely. Very friendly and very helpful with suggestions as to where best to dine and what there is to see. Definitely...

We wanted, needed and got a fantastic holiday experience. We spent eight nights there. The spacious, individual cottages allow you to have your very own space yet still be close to all on-site amenities. The staff are very helpful, obliging and friendly. Their knowledge of the local area was extremely helpful in ensuring we got to see all of the...

I stayed at the Colonial Cottages for two nights. I drove from Auckland with friends for the Kauri Run trail run. The place was huge and my queen size bed (equipped with a heating blanket) made the race day start of so wonderful. Special touches like organic coffee with a french press and milk in the fridge were so appreciated....

Spent just one night at this delightful establishment. Clean, comfortable, quiet, and calming. Our 'landlady' gave us great assistance in finding a place to dine, and if we hadn't been so weary from the long winding and hilly drive up from Whakatane, through to Whitianga, etc. we would have strolled down town rather than motoring. Comfy bed, clean amenities, beckoning...

Stayed at Coromandel Colonial Cottages last week. My first time in Coromandel. Have most amenities which one would desire at such cottages. The owners are helpful and Jan was nice to give us information on what's what in Coromandel when we checked in- perfect example of great Kiwi hospitality. Each cottage has its own parking. We had two kids in...
