Very well located in a quiet location about 8 minutes walk from shopping centre. Very handy to the Driving Creek Railway. Jan provided us with all the information one could wish for. The cottages had towels changed each day and the floor was also mopped while we were out. Would stay here again if in Coromandel Town.

We were two elder couples travelling together and the units here were small cottages with two bedrooms off a hallway from the front door and a large lounge/kitchen area. Perfect for us. The site also has an outdoor pool of which full use was made. Coromandel Town centre is walkable but we deemed it just far enough in the evening...

Photos on the website are exactly as the cottages are. Jan & Steve were really helpful, giving us great tips for days out. Our cottage was comfortable, well appointed and well cared for. Our grandchildren visited us one day and had a fun time in the pool. The 20 min walk into the town centre was most enjoyable.

This is a good place to stay. Clean, spacious and comfortable. We had a two bedroom place because we booked late. It would be fine for four people. An interesting setting It was well equipped and the hosts were friendly and helpful. Nice poole and very quiet Very happy to recommend

We spent just over a week at the Coromandel Colonial Cottages as a base for touring this area of New Zealand. The accommodation was clean and very well presented. We stayed in a one bedroom unit that consisted of a large living room with Tv and kitchenette, spacious bedroom and good sized toilet and shower facility. On site there is...

Thank you for your review, we are glad you enjoyed your stay with us. We agree with your that the Wifi signal was weak towards the back of the property. We had been waiting for a new system and booster to be installed and this was finally completed in February. It has made a huge difference. Thanks again.

The cottage we stayed in was spacious, clean and had a huge bathroom. Our cottage was very convenient to the laundry room. The owners were helpful and gave us great restaurant and attractions recommendations as well as free oranges from their trees.

Stayed here for one night on our way to the top of Coromandel. We had a 2-bed cottage which was clean and tidy. The bed was comfortable and the shower room was fine. The owners were very helpful and friendly and showed us where to park with our boat and gave us recommendations for eating in local restaurants. For fishing...

Quaint little cottages but rather cute. There was plenty of room for my family of three but I won't recommend more than four people to one house. The amenities were average with an underpowered stove but that was to be expected. There is also a lack of power points and it was easy to overload the power box but considering...

Thank you for your review. The Cottages were built in mid to late 70s to the style of miners cottages, the size of an average 2 bedroom house. There is a minimum of twelve power points in each Cottage. We are at a loss to know why you did not have good WiFi and would be interested to know what...

We stayed in a 2 bedroom cottage that was spacious and very, very, clean; and, in tranquil and quiet setting. The cottages are quaint and reflect the history of the area. Our linen and towels were all of high quality. The grounds of the Motel were very well maintained, a further reflection of the attention to detail of the owners....

Lovely little cottages. Great host who was very informative about the local attractions and places to eat, really helped with our stay. Great place to stay with family or friends, would be amazing in summer.
