Stayed with my son and some family friends at this hotel when attending Mumford and Sons concert in Aviemore. 7 miles out but easy drive, on bus route, cycle paths and only £15 return in taxi. Hotel and staff were first class. We got a great rate and rooms were large comfortable and had recently been refurbished with new bathrooms...

We arrived very suddenly with 3 boys and the hotel staff were fab, accommodated us on short notice and accommodated us as each day went on by adding another night to our stay, staff were great in all aspects from reception to dining, rooms were fine, clean, bathroom was also clean and shower was nice. They accommodated the kids well...

We visited as part of a coach tour and had a great time. The hotel is very old but decor is fresh and clean. Rooms are big and comfortable and with newly fitted bathrooms. Public rooms are welcoming. Food was great - good choice and well presented. The entertainment was good - typically Scottish but with guests from Austria, Italy...

This hotel is situated in a perfect spot for exploring the fabulous Scottish Highlands. All the staff do their best to make people feel at home and they do a terrific job catering for large groups of people. Food is basic fare, but well cooked and presented. Plenty of choice whether for breakfast or evening meal. Robert manages as any...

Stayed at the Carrbridge as part of a Newmarket Holiday. The hotel itself is quaint but everywhere very clean. Rooms are smallish but do have ensuite so meet your needs for a good nights sleep. The food was very home baking like your mother cooked but plenty of it and a good choice for both evening meal and breakfast. The...

Lovely staff overseen by the owner, great food with good choice (ideal system for catering for a large party). Room very comfortable, clean towels each day. Felt very well looked after. Hotel had an old-fashioned feel to it in a good way. Liked the log fire in entrance in the evenings.

The first clue should have been the two coaches in the car park. The place was full with tours guests and the only room available to us was a twin room. We were all good with that since we hadn't pre-booked. But. There was no wifi as advertised and we were all but ignored for the included breakfast next morning....

Stayed here for four nights on a Newmarket Holiday. Carrbridge is a lovely village with a quaint bridge over the river just across from the hotel. The hotel was spacious, it's not a luxury hotel but it was very comfortable. Breakfast was an enormous buffet with porridge, cereals and fruit/meats/cheese as well as full English cooked breakfast to help yourself...

Dreadful room, two twin beds in a tiny room with no bedside lighting. One bed was right up against the door and to open the door the bed had to be moved! The bedding was poor, the sheets clean but the comforters were smelly. Too bad, the food was very good and the staff friendly. Certainly do not recommend this...
