What an idyllic place beautiful room peaceful and a nice place to stay. Because of COVID-19 the only option for an evening meal was to order one from the local pub and have it delivered to the hotel. The owner set a table for us in the dining room and warmed the plates for the food. Excellent breakfast nothing too much trouble. Thoroughly recommend this boutique hotel.

This is a small friendly BandB Hotel in a lovely location, surrounded by woodland with a small lochan in the grounds. The room was a very high standard, very tasteful and comfortable, with lovely bathroom. There were plenty of supplies on the beverages tray, with the nice touch of home baking! We were made very welcome, with a complimentary drink, and a short tour. The breakfast was well cooked and delicious...lots to choose from too.A lovely short stay...we will be back!

Our room was clean, comfortable, bathroom fully modern, lovely breakfast. A very nice place to stay. The only drawback is that there is no where close to have dinner. We found that the dinner offered at the nearby Cairn Hotel left much to be desired. But the Fairwinds Hotel itself is highly recommended. There is an honesty bar, with the first drink complimentary.

I stayed at the Fairwinds during the Golden Spurtle. It is the closest hotel to the town hall where the competition is but really, this is a small town, everything is close. Peter is a kind host and the breakfast is delicious with a large selection. The room on the ground floor is incredibly large and charming. The bathroom is large, beautifully renovated and modern. The woods and trails behind the hotel are absolutely gorgeous.

We had the pleasure of staying for 2 nights in the Fairwinds Hotel. Peter's welcome and continuing friendship during our brief stay was much appreciated. The room was comfortable and spotless and there was plenty of choice for a quality breakfast. Whilst the Hotel does not provide dinner the minutes away Cairns Hotel provided good food and a welcoming atmosphere. A thoroughly enjoyable stay.
