This is such a relaxing place to stay with a touch of grandeur. The tree lined drive, the gurgling river or the sun streaming across the lawns at the back in the early morning all add to the effect. The rooms are fitted out to a very high standard and as for the lounge, it was like sitting in a National Trust property but much more comfortable. The breakfasts were excellent and Gordon and Trixie were very welcoming and attentive. Even Archie the dog mans the reception sometimes (better than a bell). Highly recommended but if you fancy a stay, do book soon because the owners are hoping to relocate south, nearer family.

Our family really enjoyed our stay at the Dalrachney Lodge Hotel. Gordon and Trixie were very helpful and friendly, the rooms were great, and the food was fantastic. Quiet surroundings and great views.

We stayed here for just one night and had a very warm welcome from Gordon and Archie the dog. Our room was fabulous with the most amazing views over the garden and surrounding hills. The bathroom was massive and a great shower! Breakfast was delicious and plentiful with a great choice. We had a walk around the grounds and down by the burn in the garden with Archie the dog to walk off the breakfast before we headed off to our next destination. All Covid safety rules were in place and we would defiantly return.

Terrible experience with grumpy owner who appears to find living in a fridge a good idea. Poor heating, poor decor, average food and no humour. I won’t be back. The location was fine, but marred by the service.

Very easy to find in Carrbridge with ample parking area. Warmly welcomed by Gordon (proprietor) and made our way to our accommodation. We were in a lovely room 11 on the 2nd floor overlooking fields and mountains and a river! Bed was super comfy and our bathroom comprised of a walk in large shower, toilet and hand wash basin with a window at one end. We were meeting family elsewhere in the village but when we returned in the evening, the hotel bar and lounge was open for a nightcap! Stunning! The breakfast on Sunday morning was "Out Of This World" - Top Quality Full Scottish including Bacon, Egg, Haggis, Sausage, Tomato and Mushrooms - Together with Filter Coffee and Toast, this was a great start to the day! Lovingly prepared by Gordon's wife Trixie and served by Gordon. Sadly we had to leave all too soon but we will definitely be back!
