This is very friendly hotel in lovely surroundings with very helpful staff. Laid back traditional grandeur and wonderful modern spa combine for a wonderful experience. So relaxing. Highly recommend it.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for one night in November to celebrate our anniversary. We chose the hotel for the Somerset setting, the beautiful traditional manor house décor and the spa. We were not disappointed in the slightest! Upon arrival we were greeted by a young guy on reception who was very welcoming and informed us we had been...

We had a pleasant weekend stay here. The food was good, the staff were lovely, especially Crystal (apologies if I have her name spelled incorrectly), who was friendly, attentive and professional. We both enjoyed our massage and felt very relaxed when we left. However the hotel is a little worn at the edges and crying out for some redecoration. Our...

A booked a night for my Mums 60th and we all enjoyed it. The spa was fantastic as was the restaurant. Staff were friendly and more than happy to help. My only niggle is that the hearing couldn't be turned down in our room and the pillows were super thin but I'd still go back.

For the money this is a good value hotel. Our room was very good though a bit dark and tired. It had its own sweet little patio which would be lovely on warm evenings (though you can overhear the gossip in the outdoor jacuzzi...). A neat little corridor in the room for dumping luggage, and a fabulous shower (who needs...

My stay at this charming Spa Hotel was wonderful from start to finish. My daughter and I had a very warm welcome and were shown around the Spa and treatment area then shown to our room. We were asked if we wanted news papers in the morning. The room was very nice, twin beds and a sofa for sitting or...

Stayed overnight on a spa break with a two course meal, the room was upgraded to a loft room which was lovely. (didn't get time to soak in the massive roll top bath, as we spent a long time in the spa) Enjoyed a 'two for one' cocktail , followed by a lovely evening meal, and we were full. There...

Fourth visit for an overnight spa experience at The Charlton Hotel on arrival our room was not ready so we had lunch whilst we waited, the lunch was well cooked and the staff were friendly and helpful. To get to our room we had to go out of the main hotel. It was raining hard so we got wet getting...

I booked a 241 Bannatyne spa break as a present for my daughter. We have stayed before and this trip did not disappoint . I upgraded and we had the most amazing room overlooking the spa with a mezzanine and 2 bathrooms !!. The spa and the treatments were wonderful and my daughter even managed an hour in the gym....

Beautiful spa and treatments. Totally relaxing. The outdoor pool and hot tub are pure bliss. We went for a twilight spa and had two treatments which we booked as a package on spa breaks which was well worth the money. Robes and towels included but bring flip flops
