Our hotel is based 7 km. to the north of Giethoorn. And indeed, the old town centre is only to be visited by boat for there are no roads (just canals instead). In our hotel you can book a private expedition by minibus and sailing vessel to Giethoorn and National park Weerribben-Wieden or a guided boat trip on a tourist boat. It is also possible to hire your own electrical boat, cano or traditional Dutch 'Punter' (small wooden sailing vessel). Of course we will be happy to help you organize your personal, unforgettable Giethoorn experience.
