The staff and owners were incredibly friendly and welcoming when we arrived shortly after checkin time. We had one of the garden suites with our one-year old. The room was spacious and clean, the little cot for our son was all set up. The beds were very comfortable, the shower had excellent water pressure and got nice and hot, the... More

the owners of this hotel are fine as long as everything goes as they envisaged it, however cannot cope with simple requests which are not what they see as standard and resort to being plain rude when a polite suggestion for improvement is made. lovely village, beautiful surroundings; will return, but will stay at different lodgings.

The most peaceful relaxing village. Second year in a row visiting for a couple of days. Decided to book the bigger room this time and was very happy with the room and the lovely terrace. Breakfast was better as well this time. Service was friendly and efficient, especially service in the afternoon and evenings. We will be back for sure.... More

A warm welcome, a very flexible staff and an animated atmosphere in the restaurant/bar. Super location in the middle of the small authentic village with sunny terrace. Beautiful walks starting right from the hotel and tourist information office on opposite of the hotel if you don't know where to go. Not the best kitchen we could think of, but the... More

Located in the small town of Oudemirdum. The rooms are tiny and some of them only have rhe toilet on the floor. Breakfast is standard but nothing special. Staff is really nice and helpfull and understand both German and English. Restaurant is good. Really love the area around.

Excellent personal management with clean rooms and good service. Smiling welcoming staff with very good local food. Lot of older guests who are interesting to talk with and with a very friendly atmosphere. The hotel is located in the centre of the beautiful small village and does tend to be quiet by about 9-30pm. Yes - the flies can be... More

We visited this area of Holland for the first time and stayed at this small hotel for four nights. The family who manage this hotel do it very well and their staff are excellent, providing a good standard of service to make your stay as pleasant an experience as possible. We stayed in a garden room at the rear of... More

Short-notice booking, cycling tour, rain, cold. It was such a delight to arrive at the Hotel Boschlust in the evening. The room was OK but could do with a light renovation. The bathroom was not really acceptable but improvement/renovation would be difficult because its so small. The restaurant for the evening meal is attractive but the food could be better... More

“Cannot comment as we did not see the rooms in the hotel itself, only the garden rooms at the rear of the hotel which were perfectly adequate. We did use plug in mosquito repellent in the room as there appeared to be a lot around. Beds very comfortable.”
