Clean and tidy no-frills hotel next to train station. We stayed one night on our way from Zermatt to Salzburg and it was extremely convenient. Trains were a bit noisy but that didn't detract from the stay.

Located about 200 meters from the train station and 2 minutes by car from Sargans highway exit. The room and bathroom were clean and adequate in size. The bathroom was provided with all essentials. The bed was comfortable and the large comforter was a bonus. Car parking for guests is provided and free Wi-Fi is available. The dining area closes...

Location at the end of platform 5 of the railway station. Can be noisy but great restaurant. Best steak I have had for years. The staff are good, best from there a bus to Lichtenstein and what a place to visit. Sargans is the rail junction into Austria, that is the point of any visit.

Sometimes you get taken in by a photo you see on the search engine: a quaint little hotel in a country setting, with trees framing it. Then you arrive and find the picture was misleading: the building is bang on a busy road intersection with nothing less than a railway track just below your windows (the room vibrates every time...

The main attraction of the Hotel Zum Ritterhof is its location right alongside the main railway station. It was convenient and the staff was efficient and friendly. The location creates a bit of noise, but the number of trains goes way down at night, and our room was on the street side (not the rails side) so the noise was...

Potentially a nice hotel, actually a lot bigger than it looks from the outside. The side 'hotel' entrance was closed so all the time we were there entry was there the main bar etc. Whilst the room was never special it was ample and clean enough. However having paid 130CHF (the most expensive we paid in 5 different nights in...

I do not have much to add to other reviewers. The hotel was really clean with friendly staff. The receptionist spoke good English. Our room was large compared with other hotels in that region of Switzerland. We did appreciate that we were allowed to store our bicycles in a small barn behind the hotel. As our waitress told us, there...

I stayed at zum Ritterhof and can't add much to what others have said: Friendly employees, spotlessly clean, nice little breakfast, comfortable bed etc. As I was headed east out of Zurich toward Davos, it was a nice, relatively inexpensive place to stay overnight. Yeah, the trains at night were a bit noisy at night, but I wanted to be...

Nice hotel right beside the train line but all double glazed so no problem. Stayed only the 1 night but all was excellent and we had a brilliant meal outside in their courtyard.

We stayed here for one night at the end of a trip when we had trains to catch the following morning to Munich and Vienna. Welcoming young girl, spotless rooms and comfortable beds . Despite being at a busy corner and beside the station there was no noise disturbance at night. We ate in the restaurant in the lovely outside...
