This is a smallish hotel but the staff are fantastic. Just a short walk from the beach and the town centre. Easy parking either within the grounds or outside. Lovely breakfast. The staff were amazing and were so helpful. I saw some bad reviews here and can only say I think it was sour milk as we had the very best time. Lovely. Big thanks to all and hopefully we will be able to make another trip soon. Muchas gracias. Michael Levy.

They don't exactly advertise NO AIRCONDITION ROOMS. When you are there they tell you that air-conditioning is available for 20 Euros per night. Parking is 15 Euros per night. NO ELEVATOR is not advertised. It's an old hotel.

Dear Mr/Mme Jkotor, How are you? We kindly recommend you the following: there is actually no need to read the small print what we do really recommend you when you book a room especially on the internet, is TO CHECK EXACTLY WHAT ARE YOU BOOKING in order not to be disappointed once you are in the hotel. You booked and standard double room with a very convenient price. In your reservation you can read exactly what it includes: free WIFI, minibar, toiletries, bed linen and towels, flat screen TV 32'' with satellite channels, telephone and ventilator. If you would have read it you would have realised that the air conditioning service was not included in the price you paid. On sale there are other options but YOU and only YOU chose the room you booked. The price difference between a room with airco and the one without is 20€ per night. On the same site you booked there was also the information about the car park. It says clearly: "Private parking is possible on site (reservation is needed) and charges are applicable". If you would have called us and asked about the fee we would have given you the information. The hotel has not elevator and this is explained in many reviews, that is why the reception staff always ask the guests at the check in if they need help to bring up the suitcases. We also have rooms on the basement for guests with mobility issues.

I like this place as it is in a quiet street. The rooms are very nice and bright and it is off the main streets. At this time of year anyway it is quiet. The service generally and the staff are just excellent and extremely helpful. The big negative for me is that the parking is 1§0 Euros per night at this time of year. I was sure that a few years ago it was free of less expensive. Most of the hotels seem to have extremely expensive parking which is extremely disappointing and annoying. They have a "fitness" area which is a real joke. They should stop this as it is useless and there is no real equipment. There is no evening menu except a a la carte and that is no better than town. Disappointing to say the least The breakfast is excellent with fresh melon juice and a green one with ginger. With the exception of the parking it is a nice place to stay.

Dear René A, thank you very much for coming again to our hotel Car park fee is according to the usual prices of the area, off season 10€ per 24h, which for Catalonia is very cheap. In the case you do not wish to park in the place you have the option to park in the 3 free carparks situated all around the town, and less than 10 minutes food walk from the hotel. Our fitness corner is on a small porch in our garden, a calm and quiet place where you can practice sports in a very Zen way. As machines there is 1 exercise bike, a treadmill, and one for abs and weights. It is a special and very quiet place to practice yoga or pilates. It is not at all an ultramodern gym but our clients like it very much for the extreme tranquility and exclusivity. We are sorry that you found it a "joke" :-( and we are sorry that it disappointed you. If you wish to train in more professional spaces please contact the reception since there are multiple options in town.

The people are very nice and friendly, so we felt staight away welcome and cosy. The hotel is a little dimond in a very busy town. Our room was good, but unfortunately on the groundfloor, so we did miss the daylight. It is an old Hotel, but very sympa. We come again and take a room in the first or second floor.

Dear Jujuhaha! thanks ever so much for your very kind review! We will be very happy to see you again and give you the best available room en etage, however rooms on the basement are very cool and quiet, because of the very thick walls that were formerly part of a masia: typical catalan country house. Warmest regards and take care of yourselves! xxx

Wonderfully located hotel with super helpful staff. It is however to be noted that the facilities are a bit old with no elevator neither proper air conditioning and parking spots are limited and require reservation. The breakfast has interesting fresh choices and the staff are very welcoming and generous. All the center and the beach of Platja d’Aro are a walk away.

Dear Mr HadiF887, thank you very much for your reservatin and nice review. However we would like to point out that we do have rooms with airco, but they must be booked direct at the hotel You booked a room with no airco. In this case you have always the possibility to rent a portable airconditioning machine, the fee is 20€ per night. Best regards!
