Lovely 10 day stay at this hotel. Don’t stress on some bad reviews. We arrived 28th July between 9of us all 3 rooms were spotless and cleaned daily by the maids, fresh towels was left if needed so no moans there. Food was actually really good and as a terribly fussy eater was very concerned about some bad reviews, I can honestly say there was no need to be. Food varied from evening to evening and the fresh joints of pork with crackling was amazing 🤩 All good piping hot. They did have a barbecue which looked amazing but we’d booked a meal out that evening so missed out 🤪 Foam Party great, pools all good accept baby pool but we didn’t have any toddlers so made no difference to us (was a little tired looking but probably due to covid) All staff work super hard and are all really friendly, not much going on of a evening with a very chilled out vibe. If you want a bit of nightlife it’s only 4 euros in taxi with some fab Irish bars 💃 Sun lounger probs 😂 Yes there was a problem there but I’d say no worse than most places plus you got 2 on your terraced so was easy enough to wheel them down to pool without anyone telling you you couldn’t. All in all I’d say we had a great time and would definitely return if not next year the year after so thank you for a pleasant stay and hopefully see you soon 🤩…
We stayed here from 24th July to the 4th August with our daughter, son in law and three grandsons aged 13, 11 and 9. We had a really enjoyable time. The food was very good with lots of different dishes on offer. There was something for everyone. Our rooms were very comfortable and cleaned thoroughly every day and our bed sheets were changed several times. The beds were really comfortable we all had the best sleeps ever. We stayed for 11 days and wished we could have stayed longer. The hotel staff worked really hard and were very friendly. On our first couple of days there was a shortage of sun beds but by the time we were due to go home there seemed to be quite a few that were still vacant after breakfast....so maybe more sun beds had been purchased. It wasn't a big deal for us as we just took the sun beds from our bungalow to the poolside. They had wheels and were easy to move around. There was some entertainment on every evening and our grandsons loved the pools especially the foam parties - there were two parties during the day lasting an hour each during our stay. The entertainments lady came round daily to tell us what was on. The complex had a lovely relaxed atmosphere and as far as I could tell everyone was having a great time. I would definitely revisit.…
Third time at this hotel and enjoyed another stay. We love the chilled out vibe, no loud music at the pool, no pressure to join in stupid activities, no hyped up entertainments rep bouncing up to your sun lounger every 5 minutes asking if you want to juggle fire, ride a unicorn etc. etc. Night time activities are restricted to bingo, quizzes, karaoke and the occasional bit of live music. We walked down the town a few evenings, shops stay open late and it's cooler and quieter, good time to shop for knockoff handbags, cheap perfumes etc. Other evenings we sat outside the lobby bar (not always open but no issue popping into the restaurant to get a glass of wine/beer) talked, played cards and enjoyed the fact that we (a) couldn't do that at home and (b) our teenagers were sitting with us and not holed up in their rooms like at home. Seen a lot of complaints about the food, we thoroughly enjoyed it and always had plenty to choose from but if you are adverse to fresh fish, copious veggies and salad then you will struggle. There was always a different paella every day, and one meat (chicken or steak usually) and fish on the griddle along with different pizzas, fresh breads, soup etc. Usual selection of desserts and ice creams. Noticed quite a few adults eating pizza and chips on a regular basis. Breakfast is the usual fare with fresh pancakes on the griddle and omelettes made to order, along with pastries, fruits etc. I'm a tea drinker but there's a large selection of coffees which are very good so I drank those and daughters loved the hot chocolates. The hotel put on a lovely bbq one night with a Mediterranean theme, also had a selection of cheeses, choritzo, salamis, iberico ham, prawns fresh off the griddle, clams, mussels etc. This is a small hotel with one restaurant and they try to cater for everyone but they are providing food in their style with a nod to our tastes - if your diet runs to burgers and chips and "English breakfasts" then this isn't the hotel for you. However an all inclusive buffet is a good way of trying different foods and if you don't like it try something else. We had a couple of picky eaters in our party who have discovered something new they now like. We love sitting on the terrace to eat overlooking the sea and with a view to Fuerteventura. It's a hot country, the doors are open, so yes there are flies, there's nothing anyone can do about that, swat them away and get on with it. Didn't try the food at the pool bar (we ate far too much in the restaurant) but burgers, hot dogs, chips etc available. Pool bar also has a coffee machine and usually some sort of cake/pastry if you miss breakfast. Love having the individual bungalows rather than a hotel room, however would really love if each patio had some shade as would be quite content to sit on the patio from time to time rather than at the pool. Small fridge in each room to keep drinks cool. Some showers do leak but easily mopped up with bath mat and it's changed every day if needed. TV has BBC 1, 2 and ITV. Lots of complaints about lack of sunbeds but that is caused by selfish people putting their towels down by 6.30/7am and buggering off half the day, not much different to any other hotel we've been to. We walked down to the beach on days we couldn't get sunbeds and enjoyed the change of scenery. There were a few parasols which have seen better days but given the wind on Lanzarote it's a miracle any of them are still standing. Again if there was shade on the individual patios you could sit on the sun loungers/chairs there but it gets too hot. Recommend taking a walk up the volcano behind the hotel one morning before it gets too hot, fantastic views but very dusty, don't wear your best shoes. We also did the Sunday market in Teguise and the Wednesday one at the Marina, plus took the local bus to Puerto del Carmen for a day (£2.75 each way) - large shopping mall including Zara and McD's. Also recommend the Harp Bar up off the beach, reasonably priced foods and cocktails and the champagne sangria was yum. One of our party took ill while we were there and we were directed to the local health centre by reception. Luckily we had brought our still valid E111 cards so she was seen to quickly and got free medical attention and prescription, so if you still have one make sure you bring it. Drinks : On tap Amstel larger, Red, white and Rose wine at lunch and dinner, sparkling wine at breakfast. Fruit "juices" also but more like dilute juices we know. Local brand fizzy lemon and orange, 7up and Pepsi. Water dispenser in the restaurant and at the pool. Pool drinks are served in paper cups, if you don't like this then saw quite a few people bring starbucks cool cups or their own aluminium beer cups. Generous measures of spirits in all inclusive offerings but limited "cocktails", sparkling wine is available at the pool bar as part of all inclusive but not advertised so you have to ask for it. Have stayed in other 4 star hotels in Lanzarote and while this isn't the best it's certainly not the worst by a long shot which is why we've returned for our 3rd visit. More suited to adults than kids to be honest. Staff are hardworking and it's lovely to see the same staff that were there pre covid. If you are after 24 hour entertainment, magicians, dancing girls, and the same food you get back home then this isn't the place for you. Having not been on holiday since pre covid we were glad to get the opportunity to chill, relax in the sun and spend time with friends and family.…
I feel the need to write this whilst here still as a lot of people will be apprehensive with recent reviews There's no need to be concerned. Rooms are clean. Beds firm and comfy. Should leaks slightly but nothing major! Very nice bungalows First evening meal was lovely fresh kebabs and chicken wings loads of salad and soup and Desserts are decent with a selection ice creams for kids 8.5/10 Breakfast was OK. A bit too many sweet options if there were better sausages and some form of hash brown is would be an 8/10 for me but without around a 7. Drink selection limited. 4 or 5 cocktails to choose from all very similar. All house spirits to choose from which you can pick any mixer with it.vodka tequila rum baileys (local) brandy gin. Beer on tap for yourself to pour, amstel. Pool bar is open 10-11pm and lounge bar from 9. Yes it's paper cups. But this is easier at the end of the day it's whats in them thay counts. Wine is avaliable with dinner only. And cava with breakfast. The place is tidy and area around your bunglow well maintained. The pool is crowded and we had sunbeds by 830 and on them straight after breakfast. It's 1130 now and there's a couple of beds still free. Some are reserved which is hard to avoid. Taxi to PB is between 4/5 euro and its lovely. Please don't worry if your coming out here you'll have a nice time and it's relaxing. If there is and issue staff are friendly and maintenence on hand. Enjoy! Remember folks it's peak holiday season staff are stretched and demand is high.…
Lovely hotel with a nice selection of food Good layout and fairly peaceful Location a little out of the main town but a short taxi ride Could do with a bar which serves from glasses more than meal times and 9-12…not always manned and the staff seemed to have two jobs which is a shame as they were so helpful
Great apartments and very clean. Food was good, plenty of choice, choice of drinks not so great if you want to make the most of an all inclusive but adequate for us. Good location, walking distance to a lovely beach and a taxi ride from bigger beaches. Lovely pool , no noisy pool entertainment.
Where do I start. Been to this hotel couple times. We had amazing time. Returned for a 3rd time after the covid situation was like returning to a different hotel. The rooms are nice that's about it. The food was shocking that bad on a few occasions I had to spit my food out was disgusting caked in salt. The drinks massively watered down the hotel very unkept cracked tiles everywhere. Pool bottom paint flaking off. Parasols broken seen one callapsed on a young girl was hold up with bent spoon. Flys everywhere even in the restaurant all over the food. No entertainment at all. Me and my partner ended up eating and drinking out. All inclusive waste of money. On my last day seen the worst a guy doin water aerobics with guests had a massive speaker and electric extension right next to the pool inches from the water. Heath and safety gone right out the window. This is not a 4 star not ideal for children. We complained to the jet2 rep we are waiting for a response. Will never return ere again and it's a shame could be soooo much better. Be warned avoid avoid avoid.…
Positive vibes After reading a few negative reviews we where worried well you don’t need to be. Rooms as you can’ see are perfect little bungalows perfectly situated around a lovely area and cleaned every day Food was good yes typical all inclusive food but always piping hot and very fresh with a good variety for all tastes was impressed. Entertainment was a little dissapointing did expect live music or shows etc it didn’t effect us to much but do think it does need addressing maybe covid and staffing issuing has an impact on that, there is a guy who is there on a Thursday and karaoke was ok. Drink quality was good we where all inclusive plus which helped. Simone’ on reception was very helpful as well as other staff member’s. Overall great stay we wound return lovely view’s also whilst eating in the restaurant. Hope this’ helps other’s happy holiday’s…
Just returned from a 14 night stay and had a really enjoyable holiday. Whilst we had a good time there were a few things to have a little moan about, mostly things that the hotel can definitely improve upon. Wi-Fi - really not very good at all. Worked some times but not others, very hit and miss across the site where it does and doesn't work, if at all in places. The hotel should improve this. The food - good, very good, but I can see why people wouldn't speak favourably about it, The fact is this is a smaller hotel, if the restaurant and kitchen were bigger there would be more choice. The food on offer is varied to a good degree but people would have to open up their palette a bit and try new things to appreciate this. On many occasions there was dirty cutlery and plates with dried food stuck to them - the hotel should improve on this too. Flies were a bit of an annoyance in the restaurant and there was nothing to be seen for the hotel trying to deal with this - this could be easily fixed by getting a couple of those blue light zapper thingys that other hotels in the area have. Now then, SUNBEDS. By far the one thing that was an issue for a lot of people. Its clear that the people not moaning about sunbeds were the ones going out in the dark of night to claim their beds with towels in the early hours. We were prepared from reading other reviews before we came that there would be no beds by 10am as a lot of reviews stated - wrong, they were all gone by 7am. The day before we left the hotel they did get a delivery of new sunbeds - this was long overdue and I hope this now won't be too much of an issue for people moving forward. Sadly for us and for many others though, it has been a bit of a nightmare. It was heart-breaking to see people laying towels down on the hard tiled floor, or having to drag sunbeds down from their apartments, all whilst seeing that there was plenty of floorspace for the hotel to put more sunbeds out. In addition, many guests are utterly ruthless and selfish - we had our towels removed from our beds one day by a family who claimed that the hotel did it, then they apologised to us later because the grandad of their family had actually done it - bang out of order. Another time, whilst looking to get the last 4 available beds at the same time as a nearby man, we were stupid enough to ask him how many beds he wanted rather than just suggest 2 beds each. He said he wanted 3 beds so we took the remaining one bed. We spent the rest of that day as a family of 3 cramped on one single sunbed, while he relaxed in comfort nearby with an empty sunbed either side of him - his family were nowhere to be seen for about 90% of the day. We did wonder after a few hours why he didn't eventually feel guilty and at least offer us one his 2 empty beds, but that offer never came. At the end of the day, everyone played the "get up early and claim sunbeds with towels game" - you either joined in and played too, or you didn't get beds. Simple. The major annoyance was the people that claimed sunbeds early, then didn't come and use them until the afternoon. Most people seemed to claim their beds with towels and then not come and use them until somewhere between 11am and 3pm - yep, we saw a few times where beds were left claimed but untouched until 2pm/3pm - the people doing this should be ashamed. There was also the worry that you might end up near "that family" - you know, the ones that play their music on a speaker for all to hear. Whether they played their music for their own sake and didn't care about others, or thought they were providing a welcome musical service for everyone, its hard to tell but inconsiderate either way. They should invest is some earphones to not annoy the people that didn't want to listen to Bob Marley, The Verve or Stone Roses and such like. Thanks but no thanks. The pool can get a bit rowdy sometimes with some people or kids not being spacially aware or considerate of others - its everyone's pool and everyone's holiday though and it was nice to see people having a good time. The reports on other reviews that the pools need a bit of TLC are absolutely true - the lining at the bottom of the pools are broken in quite a few places but this doesn't cause people any harm to be fair. The snack bar at the pool is another area needing improvement. Whilst the drinks on offer were good (the slushes in particular were great!) the food was not so good. I tried a burger one day and it wasn't a great experience. The food waiting to be cooked had flies on it because just like in the restaurant there was no sign of any attempt at pest control. When i got my burger the meat was brown on the outside and pink in the middle - and also stone cold. It went in the bin. The room was good and the cleaner came in daily. The TV had only 3 British channels - BBC1, BBC2 and ITV1 so it was like being back in 1981. This didn't affect our holiday in any way though but is another thing that the hotel could improve upon. The shower needed re-sealing as it leaked just like many other people have reported so this is clearly a widespread issue - no big deal though as you can easily put a towel down. Entertainment in the evening was very poor as everyone states. The snack bar at the pool isn't very big compared to hotel capacity so only a fraction of the hotel's occupancy can get in there and sit down. Claudia was the hotel's only entertainment staff and she was lovely and worked hard to provide activities. One person can only do so much though. At the end of the day, we had a good time as your holiday is what you make it, so we made it a good one for ourselves. We wouldn't return but we wouldn't not recommend this hotel either. Like everyone says - this is a 3 star hotel labelled as a 4 star (all hotels in the area seem to be 4 star if you look around, not sure why). Don't expect grand things and you should have a nice holiday.…
Returned 4th Aug 2022 and the whole family, 3 kids (9, 11 and 13) plus grandparents, husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Not one complaint which can be difficult when catering to different age groups. The shower did leak once in one of our apartments, due to angle of the shower head, but a towel sufficed and housekeeping changed it the next day. Can only echo other reviews re good level of cleanliness, very friendly helpful staff and good standard of facilities. I won’t go into local amenities etc as it has all been said before. The purpose of my review is I felt compelled to offer my perspective after I spoke with several families who said they felt apprehensive about this hotel after the more recent bad reviews. And each family was more than happy when they arrived. The only thing people did have a niggle about was the sun beds. My parents are early risers and they said that one day at 5:30 most sun beds had been taken (although other days beds were available until 8ish). As we had sun beds on our terraces I felt this was not an issue, we just took ours down to the pool area if needed as there was always room. However, I get that is not ideal for some and had my husband not have been there to move them I would have struggled due to an injury but I am certain staff would have helped. That said we did spot a pallet of sun beds had been delivered as we were leaving so hopefully the hotel are acting on this feedback. I would happily stay at this hotel again and hope those who have booked a holiday here enjoy it as much as we did.…
