We've booked the hotel when it was four-star so when it turns the five-star we thought great.

When we were there the hotel was undergoing renovations so they were relaxed about dress code in all the restaurants. When it is all completed I guess it will be different as they are aiming for 5* status.

I booked with thomson and had 2 rooms next door to each other. I was travelling with my husband and 2 13 year old sons. For us doing this gave us plenty of space. My sister in law was also on holiday with us she had one room with her and 3 kids. She did find it a bit cramped and went to the balcony to get some time alone. We let our nephew use our sons shower to get ready to save 4 people using 1 shower. I don't know how big the suites are. ..but would definitely recommend having 2 rooms next door to each other. The hotel was emailed asking for the rooms to be next door. We had a key for both rooms.
