We booked the Elba premium suites as we had visited the comfort suites pre pandemic as a family with children , we had seen the adults area and fancied it , so myself and husband jetted off to this beautiful part of the world . We arrived early at Manchester and had no issues with queuing or any other problems through out the airport ( we were lucky I guess as other people we spoke too had issues ) we flew from terminal 2 which now has much more of array of shops and dining areas ( but queues could be seen here to enter some of the establishments . No issues with transfer from Lanzarote to Elba suits coach ready and waiting and plenty of Tui staff to direct you to correct coach . Arrived later in the evening was greeted by very friendly and professional staff at the hotel ( there is customary drinks at the side of the reception desk . Instructions given and map to locate the room . All rooms are blocks of 4 on one level absolutely stunning with own terrace , sun loungers and seating areas . You may be given a room number such as 912 but your looking for 91 and the 1,2,3,4 is the number added to your block room if that makes sense and the numbers are displayed on all light fittings for each block eg 91 . The rooms are beautiful , huge comfortable bed with ceiling fan plus air conditioning , there is a fridge and kettle , we also had a nespresso machine in room but we didn’t use this . Has ampul lighting and storage space and sockets . A huge tv . There is a safe which is chargeable it cost €28 euro for the week and you pay up front for this . I heard a lot of people complaining regarding the charge for the safe but we have stayed in 5* hotels through out Spain and always been charged so we expected this as this hotel is 4* and the safes didn’t work on previous visit so it was worth the €28 euros not to carry around all our personal belongings on this visit . The adult restaraunt and bar located on the top floor is lovely , we had no issues with foods or beverages the wine is lovely and plenty of choice for foods , I was unwell on my visit but nothing to do with the hotel and food and I was still able to find something gentle to eat . The only thing I would suggest is there is some sections that has pate, fresh salmon and other foods that are not under cover and was flys flying around as you would expect in the heat so maybe some net fly covers to put over once the food is displayed . We seen often the chef coming out and taking temperatures of the foods . The staff are so friendly and welcoming and work very hard to meet your needs , nothing is too much trouble and if you can’t see what you want just ask and they will oblige if they can . There was entertainment every night in the adult bar with singers , musicians etc with lovely cocktails and drinks plus ambiance , a huge shout out to Sylvia who worked so hard to meet every guests needs , she is funny a very dry sense of humour and so pleasant , if your ok with her she’s ok with you but be rude and you will be put back in your place haha , she’s worth her weight in gold 🌟🌟🌟 The adult pool is set on a smaller scale and very hard to get a spot there unless you put your towels on a sun bed at 3am which is what I think everyone did from what I seen , the adjoined pool side bar is good but again very busy and I don’t feel the pool area/pool side bistro is big enough for the amount of adults that stay in the adult only section but some people we spoke too we’re annoyed by this . This didn’t deter us though as we like the large main pool which is lovely and sat watching the entertainment team , they are brilliant at their jobs very friendly and bubbly always making you laugh . Our room was 863 directly opposite the tennis courts nice and peaceful and was cleaned daily and water replenished by most very friendly housekeepers. We had drinks with Thomas the manager of the hotel , Thomas is seen around alot at the hotel he is friendly and speaks many languages . He is very polite and welcoming to his complex and he will endeavour to meet your needs if you speak to him directly if things can’t be resolved by his team. He collects pens ( as the banks over there are mean at issuing pens) So Thomas we hope you look after the one my husband gave you and the bear 😉 haha . Over all this is a beautiful and well kept hotel , ample selection of foods and plenty of sun beds around the main pool . The adult Restaurant and bar area are brilliant and service provided by very hard working staff through out the entire hotel . The gardens are beautiful and very well maintained by the staff . All staff I came across work very hard and are always very pleasant. Peppe is a huge hit with the children in this hotel with family’s , and adults too . The hotel is situated not far from playa Blanca which is around 10/15 min walk or the hotel puts a free bus shuttle on daily if you don’t fancy the walk . This was our second visit at this hotel and would we return , we’ll that answer is simple it’s a huge YES from us , has everything you need for the perfect rest and relaxation and ambiance. Thank you Elba for a perfect getaway☀️☀️ best wishes Mr & Mrs C Ps you still require masks on buses and taxis !! But lovely to see everyone is trying to get back to a pre pandemic life , after all this just didn’t just effect Britain it effected everyone as we all know !!happy holidays ✈️🔥…
Arrived at Elba Premium 12/5/22 after one he'll of an experience @ Leeds Bradford Airport!!!! We were to fly @ 06.30 but due to Security we flew @ 06.50 leaving 4 passengers who didn't make it. Due to my disability we booked assistance for me , I can't sit/stand and struggle with steps, and included my mother in law. Make sure you have masks when in Taxis and Buses.......we have just been shopping, 6 of us, and got a Taxi back to the hotel. We didn't have masks luckily our driver took us 3 but the others Taxi wouldn't take them....driver told us its a €100 if the Police see you. We want to do a full Review after the 2 weeks here are up. So far the holiday has been excellent. Staff are all polite and helpful, Matilda on reception was brilliant. We're in the adults only so it's a bit quieter. Rooms are excellent, very comfy beds, clean, well maintained bathroom is excellent. Not sure which hotel some of the other Reviewers were in but the food here is spot on with plenty of choices, you'll never go hungry here. Plenty of tables in restaurants. As for the pool, adults, we have always found enough beds for all 6 of us. We are so glad we chose this resort for our first holiday in 3 yrs, this is quickly becoming the best holiday we've been on...ever. Looking forward to the rest of our holiday plus its Debbis birthday on the 20th so going to try treat her to a great time, she never complains looking after me, she's my carer. She never stops...last few months have been very hard for her due to both parents fighting Cancer so this holiday is a great break for her. Many many Thanks to all the staff for making this holiday so special..😎😎😁😁😁😁👍…
Excellent hotel for a short solo suntrip. Nice sized complex, split between a family and adults-only set of pools and ground-floor rooms, with all the communal facilities you'd want (spa, gym, tennis courts, evening cabaret etc). Food is generally buffet style (didn't try either of the two al a carte restaurants) with an adults-only one upstairs which I used. No complaints at all with this - nice array of meats, cheese, salads etc plus meat/fish grilled to order. Breakfast is more of a scrum, but only because there is such a wide array of options to choose from (and if you're looking for anything else from a hotel breakfast, then go elsewhere!). Premium Suites are (as the name suggests) a collection of ground-floor-only suites. A good sized double bed plus a separate living room and an outdoor terrace. Fridge and Nespresso machine (although unless you choose the "Prestige" options, you only get a starter pack on day 1. Bring your own capsules if you like your morning fix like me!). Adults-only pool is great. Nice loungers, bar and snacks available from 10ish with table-service lunch from 1ish. I went all-inclusive which was perfect for a gin-soaked few days. Finally, a word of mention for their staff. They couldn't have done any more in any part of the hotel. First rate. A couple of tips for management (who I know read these!) - (1) make the safes in the rooms free for everyone, not just with the Prestige option. Making people feel secure in ground-floor rooms is important, plus it caused a long delay at reception when the couples ahead had to both scrabble for notes to pay for it and then have the instructions explained to them. Just cut that out because it risks making a really bad first impression of the hotel. And (2) change the poolside muzac more regularly. Pleasant tunes, but not 5-6 times each day! …
It’s a shame this place could be so much better. It’s very much a Butlins abroad. We paid extra for the adults only package and was still surrounded by kids (naughty ignorant children with their ignorant parents) The adults only pool is nothing compared to the one in the main area, it’s a pool for swimming lengths and that’s about it. The sun beds are lethal, trapped fingers and bruised nails are my souvenir! The food in the adults only restaurant upstairs was ok, some nights there was nothing decent to eat and also raw meat off the grill, the chefs need to be told they’re not cooking pork and white meats properly so we couldn’t eat a thing on those nights, even in the downstairs restaurant we were forced to use at lunch times because the adults only was very limited with its menu - the food again was undercooked. Children and their families made an awful mess because parents have no respect for others and just drop food everywhere. The staff in the restaurants and bars and especially the cleaners were fantastic, couldn’t have asked for more and even when they were spoken to like absolute dirt they remained professional- when did people stop saying “please” and “thank you” The rooms were ok, the bedding and towels were changed but most days marked and had holes in them. It’s a shame you have to pay €4 a day for the safe that should be included in the price and also towels for the sun beds had a deposit required so be prepared for hidden charges. The evening entertainment was same old stuff, a guy and a girl singing the same set and not too well I must add, I’m sure these hotels think adults only means old fashioned 70+ years old who want naff songs and a boring pool! Liven it up a bit! Same 5 songs throughout breakfast and evening tea on repeat. Overall it’s ok, we wouldn’t stay again as it’s not a true adults only and it’s overpriced for the bit you do get. No bell boy to take cases and reception sent us on a wild goose chase on arrival, it’s supposed to be included but we weren’t offered one and he starts at 12pm (same as checkout time) so be warned if you need help taking cases when checking out.…
We stayed at the Elba Premium suites in March 2022. Slightly anxious before our arrival as we took our two grown up children who haven't been on holiday with us for many years but they were both impressed by the warm friendly welcome from the staff and the spacious well designed accommodation. We had an amazing stress free holiday. The hotel was well situated for an easy walk into town. there were plenty of activities such as dirt buggies and would definitely recommend taking a trip round the island, the volcanos were impressive. All the staff at the hotel were amazing going out of their way to ensure we all had a fantastic time.
