San Pedro de Alcantara is a lovely Spanish pueblo and has kept its charm - I love the place and definitely more so than the glitz of it neighbours. I first booked in to Hostal Plaza for 7 days, partly holiday, partly business...and I stayed for 8 weeks because it's %&*#(%* brillant!...Allow me to explain,,, Sit on the terrace during...

The hostel was clean, and great value for money! The little terrace in our room was brilliant! Only little niggles were that we almost weren't allowed to check in as we didn't have our passports.. We were told that it does say on Expedia when booking but we have since looked and can't see it anywhere.. This should be more...

hello, i'm pleased you found the hostal to be clean and good value for money. On all the booking sites we currently use it does highlight the need for relevant photo ID. It is illegal not to carry ID in Spain. We need to photocopy the ID of every guest staying in the hostal and send it to the police....

We stayed here for 2 nights before we met with family, and the room was very comfortable. We had the blue bird room and it had its own little courtyard, which although was overlooked by a couple of rooms, was a lovely place to relax. Towels were provided along with some basic shower gel. We heard there was a rooftop...

We spent 7 very happy days at the Hostal. Karen, Garry, Richard, Pedro and other members of staff could not have been more welcoming and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble and their advice on places to eat, public transport and places to visit was invaluable. The rooms were very clean, air conditioned and an ample supply of hot water....

I could not have been happier to choose this hostel for my stay in San Pedro. The rooms were clean and welcoming with air - conditioning and their own bathrooms and the rooftop terrace was simply incredible to watch the sunset and share a few drinks with new found friends. The location is perfection, only minutes from some of the...

Wonderful three days. Warm and wonderful English family. Original hand painted murals everywhere. Clean rooms. Plenty of hot water. Showere are set in enclosed tubs, so you can relax and not worry about splashing. Real fall neighborhood, not a plastic condo. Enjoyed the street life and many great restaurants within two blocks! Thank you Carol, Richard and Pedro for an...

For a hostel, the room was pretty good. We stayed in a double room even though we paid for a dorm bed (they were nice enough to make us stay together, as there weren't two beds in the same room) and we had our own bathroom, which I wasn't expecting. However, I would NEVER go back to this hostel. Sure...

Absolutely no complaints about this place. The owner is lovely, very accommodating and welcoming. Rooms are tidy and clean – nice lockable bathrooms in the shared rooms There are some quaint little restaurants / cafés within walking distance and you’re only a 15m taxi away from anywhere you’d need to get to whether that’s a beach, or the main strip...

This was my first time staying at a hostel and I was so happy here that I stayed for three months. Each room has an en suite bathroom and it's own unique artwork that has been hand painted by artists. It was my good fortune to meet and watch two of the artist transform a couple of the rooms. The...

It was my first time staying at a Hostal. What can I say? It was perfect! Everything. The room, the view of San Pedro from the rooftop terrace, the people who worked there, even the other guests were amazing. I felt like home. Thank you, guys, for making my stay so wonderful at your Hostal. Thank you! :-)
