I have over 13 years of hospitality management experience in various 4 star 4 diamond hotels in the U.S. and this hotel is one of the best and hands down, the cleanest hotel I have ever seen. The design and architecture is beyond gorgeous and the detail work keeping Slovak motives is amazing. Service is implacable- David and his team know how to take care of the guest. If you are thinking about staying here, think no more. This is your place. Don’t miss out on the experience!

Feeling like in fairytale… such beautiful hotel, with attentive staff, amazing spa and massage 💆‍♂️ and incredible food choice… so far the BEST hotel in Slovakia, definitely worth money spent, and deserves five stars. Rooms are cute with high pillows and walk-in shower

The hotel is precisely designed following traditional folk patterns, assuming from the Zdiar region. We were impressed by the way how they chose furniture and decorations, and how it worked together. Amazing job! When it came to service and food, big disappointment. The staff barely said any welcome words. When serving, just placing a plate, no additional effort. We had to pay at the bar, waiting so long for the check... Definitely, additional staff training is required on how to treat costumers in 4* hotel. I ordered tagliatelle with gorgonzola, but no taste from gorgonzola at all, just a white sauce with pear compote on the top. Overall, the seasoning was missing. My friend ordered a salad, where no lactose allergens are listed on the Menu. She received parmesan cheese on the top, so she rather took a pill to avoid lactose intolerant reaction. We were joking, that chef had missed a plate because parmesan would really fit my tagliatelle, but I did not have it. The menu looked very good, but only on paper. My friend commented on our visit: There was a lot to watch, but little to experience. I agree.

We have spent 4 nights with my wife and 2 kids at this hotel. Had two rooms and I must say it was an amazing stay. The staff is absolutely dedicated and the cuisine is fenomenal. Will definitely come again.

We have been coming back here for the past decade: on a ski trip of a week in January and one season closing getaway mid March. Now the place has just been getting better every single year! Cutest design in traditional Slovakian style (maybe much at first but then you fall in love with it), courteous staff from reception to housekeeping, from maintenance to top management. Owner (Jaro) will greet you as a friend when you return; he has a good welcoming word to every guest (that's what I call hospitalty at its best). Half board is outstanding too; you'll lick your fingers every time. You try this hotel once you become addicted I guarantee...
