Well,we booked not knowing what to expect, keeping in mind that we didn't pay a massive amount for this week long break,I/we didn't expect to much, and we got what we paid for,it wasn't the Ritz but it was well placed, clean and ideal for what we wanted The staff were helpful ,what else can I say,we got what we paid for,so all round,we were happy with the accommodation
Just got back from here after being here a week. The apartments them selves are very spaceous but they do need a modern update. 1 issue we had was not enough plug sockets. We had 2 that worked between 4 of us. The people who work there were so friendly and always greeted us with a smile. Location is perfect!! If your looking for somewhere to sleep and shower this is your place. Thank you to the staff for a great week.
Absolutely disgusting Don't think this place had been cleaned since the millennium! Celloptape keeping curtain pole together Filthy curtains in every room Mould in bathroom Filthy, rusted heater in bathroom Masking tape holding up coving No clean towels for a week Not even the seagulls would use the pool. Wasn't expecting the Ritz, just cheap and cheerful. There is nothing cheerful about this dump.
Only complaint I have about this spacious apartment is very hard and creaky bed. Staff very helpful and apartment cleaned daily. Does need updated but plenty wardrobe and drawer space. Only downfall was very large climb from beach which elderly or disabled would have great difficulty with.would go back
I have stayed here a couple of times and it is what it is. Its a budget hotel and I use it as a base if I intend to do a lot of travelling etc. If I want a hotel with facilities, and better rooms then this isn't the place. This is a very basic hotel not a family complex or anything. I wouldn't stay here with my 4 year old daughter as there isn't anything there except for a small decked area and swimming pool. If I was with her I would pay more and stay somewhere that have better/more facilities that I would like. Mind you many people may moan about it but you get what you pay for and its in a great location and fairly cheap. If your elderly, disability issues, have children, or just like to moan at everything and everyone then don't stay here. Its always clearly shown as a budget hotel so stop moaning and pay a few quid more for somewhere more suitable. Personally I like it. Its simple, very basic, cheap and ideal for someone that doesn't spend all there time in a hotel room.…
We chose this hotel as it was considerably cheaper than the other hotels in Praia da Rocha. The hotel was a bit as expected; large rooms with separate kitchen. Living room separated from bedroom with a curtain. The bed was very hard, so we didn't sleep that well. Most of the staff were very friendly, especially one of them. The main reason I'm only rating this hotel two stars is because the cleaning was so bad. We were not tempted to use the kitchen as there was visible dust several places, and they hadn't emptied the trash can in the kitchen when we arrived. Even though it said cleaning would be Monday-Friday, the room wasn't cleaned for several days and we had to notify the staff. We realise that you get what you pay for, but we still expect proper cleaning. Did not try the swimming pool.…
Stayed here Sept for 9 days. Booked a studio expected everything in one room. Was pleasantly surprised. Separate kitchen, huge living and dining room. Bed in alcove separated by curtain. So apart from there being a curtain instead of a wall to bedroom it was really a one bed apartment. Cleaned
Really big apartment with private parking and balcony. Super staff - recommended all that you want (for example local restaurant). We stay only one night on our trip, and is more like ideal for travelers and not only during summer season. Wi-Fi only in public place.
Cheap and cheerful apartment, close to a minimarket, standard rooms, but you could not fault the staff, extremely helpful and always happy to see you. The hotel was generally very clean if a little dated but thats just aesthetics. Its setting is nicer than some of the areas near by as it is a lot quieter and feels safe at night. Small quiet pool but close enough to walk to the beach and all other amenities. free wifi was also available in the lobby.
The apartment was avgerage enough just not the Ritz if that is what your expecting.Basic apartment is what they are.Bed sheets and linen not changed enough as it's so warm so both should be changed more frequently besides every 3 days etc...
