We had our wedding with 92 guests in Hotel Prezydent in Zdrój-Krynica.
It was an absolute pleasure and everything went wonderful because of the great staff and very organized structure. The wedding was an international wedding with Slovakian and Danish guests. The staff was very good in both Slovakian and English.
We first planned the wedding with the manager Greg who was extremely helpful and very good at organizing everything. He has a very qualified staff that helped us with everything regarding the wedding and our guests.
The director had a lovely opening speech when we arrived to the hotel and was also helpful doing the whole wedding in the hotel.
If anyone is planning wedding I would highly recommend to have it at Hotel Prezydent. They are highly qualified for hosting wedding and they have the most beautiful hotel in Krynica!

We came back after first visit in 2022 when number of services were limited due to COVID restrictions. This time round we enjoyed all components of the romantic spa weekend. Had great night in the club, enjoyed skiing in nearby resorts and relaxed in spa. Very friendly and helpful staff made it altogether great winter break for us

The Hotel is situated close to the main tourist drag of Krynica. It is perched on the lower slopes of a hill giving the place lovely vistas over the historic town and toward the forests on the mountain slopes beyond. Outside the gates you can walk to the a number of restaurants, the water springs mall and to the park with trails and a funicular railway ride. A handsomely paved driveway leads up past free parking places. The entrance courtyard with a circular driveway and Perspex covered veranda with 5 stars proudly displayed below the hotel’s name. The hotel exterior gave a quality appearance to the façade. The lobby was a pleasant affair with marble floors, a lounge areas of Chesterfields and a little bar. Glass elevators were a pleasant feature that allowed one to make the most of the view.
The hotel was fairly empty despite a good crowd in Krynica itself. We wondered whether the prices were keeping the locals away, who seemed to be the main tourist group in Krynica.
The rooms were neat, with quality wood joinery and contemporary bathroom fixtures with a rain shower head and a deep bath. Views were god from both sides of the hotel to the forest and town. The rooms were cleaned very well each day. Patchy in room wi-fi was free. A confusing light switch system took some time to master. The air-conditioner refused to work at all, we remained unsure if this was controlled by the hotel or just busted. The beds were not the greatest. The mattress was not the firmest, but the big disappointment was the pillows. Plush goose down Polish pillows tend to be plentiful in many Polish hotels. Here we had to suffer on some very lumpy foam filled things. Other little niggles included that lack of a rubbish bin in the main room and the lack of supplied facial tissues. These little things are the formula of 5 stars all around the world and are ignored at the peril of an establishment with 5 stars in all their signs and branding.
Other problems included the lack of public area illumination. The lights were there but remained off day and night. This left passageways dark and the mood dingy and oppressive, especially given the low occupancy. The lack of illumination may have indeed been explained by the emptiness of the hotel, and some presumed threshold quota of occupancy to justify a certain expenditure on photons. Big picture windows gave a great view over the town, but were obscured by a sheer curtain in all hallways. This also made one feel insulated from the outside world.
The hotel’s bar has a great retro vibe that New York clubs pay big bucks to get styling that original. A synth and electro-violin due kept the dance floor warm with mature patrons. There was a reasonable selection of wines from around the world. The bar man did a good job of serving a bottle of Beaujolais. The hotel’s breakfast spread was fresh and representative of Polish cuisine. A self serve coffee machine made reasonable espresso. The restaurant staff were skilled and professional to an international standard.
The spa provides qualified massages with a range of treatment options. The treatments are a collection of techniques from eclectic eastern, beautician and therapeutic. There were a range of treatments catering for the European medicinal spa concept, including treatments traditionally prescribed by doctors.
The swimming pool was featured in the website. It is 18 m long and a reasonable temperature to lap swim. Jets and fountains gave children a focus to frolic under. A small Jacuzzi comfortably contained 2 people. There was a good-sized steam room and dry heat sauna. The big problem was that despite some of the hotel information stating that the pool opened at 0600, the pool only opened at 0900. This made early morning swimming very difficult given that breakfast ended at 1000. Worse still, the basically equipped gym was stuck behind the spa area, which only opened at 1000.
The hotel did a good job in providing a comfortable stay with the feel of being in the top end of this great little town. While not quite in the league or price bracket of the Irina Eris Hotel and Spa the Prezydent has a lot going for it and seems to be the firm second best in town by all accounts. I hope that the management can make the most of what they have by turning on some more lights and opening the pool and gym at 0600. Buy some new pillows and spring for some tissues and I think the place just might reach that elusive fifth star.

I have spend there around 1000 PLN and left this place with tears in my eyes. My facial was a complete warte of money, they did not treated my face according to what was stated in the description of the service and refused to charge discount. Do not recommend a spa there. They waste your hard earned money.

Very good location. Rooms are big, clean and nice furnitured. Good breakfast. This is all. What I dont like: a lit of empty space with law temperaturÄ™; near restaurant was a door - it was very cold and uncofortable; small swimingpool; small spa zone with a lot of empty space. I was firts time in this hotel and the last one.

My father and sister are currently staying at the Hotel Prezydent, having arrived on Monday and staying until Saturday. They said that not only is the hotel beautiful and the food in the restaurant delicious (they got the breakfast and dinner plan)- the staff goes out of their way to make the guests feel welcome, special and most of all, pampered.
I am sure a more detailed write up will come after they are back in the US next week!
Kudos to a top notch, 5 star hotel and staff!!

Hotel Prezydent is a new 5-star hotel right in the city centre, at the walking boulevard (plenty of art stands, souvenirs shops and a few restaurants). It is also 3 minutes walk to the historical rail that climbs up to the top of the mountain, Hotel is not very big (about 80 rooms), has a very nice swimming pool with jacuzzi and sauna utilities. I have not used SPA facilities, but the selection of treatments looked ok. Service is very good, food was excelent. The only thing is - it is quite pricy for Poland, even for 5-star hotel. Nevertheless - if you can afford it, you should not be dissapointed, and Krynica is a very nice weekend destination for leisure in the mountains (not very high though).

All the different aspects of this impeccable Hotel such as hospitality, cuisine, hygiene, and courtesy have been highly appreciated at all times. I particularly wish to express my entire esteem and gratitude to the HOTEL PREZYDENT Manager GRZEGORZ KURAS who has always done his utmost to ensure that my stays in his Hotel be the most enjoyable and relaxing one.
