#4 of 7 in Bukowina Tatrzanska
Położenie w pobliżu górskich lasów, inspiruje do pieszych wędrówek urokliwymi traktatami wśród pachnących drzew. Stąd będziecie mogli poznać naszą Bukowinę od strony czystej natury, usłyszeć szum potoków, przemierzać niezliczone malownicze szlaki i podziwiać bliskość majestatycznych Tatr. W Rysach zapewnimy Wam pełen relaks po górskich wędrówkach. W naszej strefie wellness z basenem, sauną i zabiegami rehabilitacyjnymi zmęczone mięśnie odprężą się, a ciało i dusza zaznają głębokiego spokoju i wyciszenia.

Nagyon tiszta hely, bőséges, választékos reggeli, a wellnes privát szaunás, kellemes méretű medence Very clean place, generous, exquisite breakfast, wellness with private sauna, nice size pool idegen nyelvet (német - angol) csak a fürdőmester (angol) beszélt, a recepciósok csak lengyelül, ha nincs velünk egy szlovákul beszélő, igen csak mutogatás lett volna a kommunikáció, alapvetően segítőkész a személyzet, de az értékelésünket nagyban rontotta a salátában talált élő hernyó kezelése: egy Ohhh!, és egy mosoly... nagyon korai vacsora foreign language (german - english) spoken only by the spa staff (english), the receptionists only in polish, if there is no Slovak speaker with us, only communication would have been, it is basically helpful for the staff, but their evaluation was greatly impaired by the handling of the live worm found in the salad: a Ohhh! and a smile ... very early dinner

I've stayed here a couple of times and both have been good experiences. The only negative really is that is far from the most attractive hotel in the area. But once inside you forget this! Its well maintained, clean and efficient, the rooms are huge, well heated and have lovely balconies with views of the mountains, stunning. Breakfast is a generous buffet which they seem to keep topped up right til the end. The location is great. You have only to cross the road and everything you need is there, ski hire, slopes and choice of lovely log cabins for a drink or mealbreak. best of all it doesn't seem to get too busy. Nearby there are lovely walks through the pine woods or into the village for gift shops or somewhere different to have an evening meal, lots of choice. All in all a very good place to relax and enjoy the scenery or the skiing, or both.

This is the venue for the annual family skiing holiday, and has been for 15 years. We all love it. My sons have been going since they were young teenagers, and insist on coming back every year. No other hotel is even considered. The location is superb. Big windows and balconies with a breathtaking view of the Tatra mountains. It is within a minute's walking distance of three ski slopes (admittedly fairly easy ones) and atmospheric wooden huts where you can buy traditional food, drink and roast your garlic sausage on an open fire. The rooms are very spacious, warm and comfortable. We never eat lunch or dinner here, but the breakfasts have changed in the last two years, and are now substantial buffet offerings with a wide variety. The bar is comfortable and has a wide range of local beers and vodkas. They often do dances and karaokes here. The hotel has a pool table, table tennis, a swimming pool, jacuzzi and sauna. The gym is a bit basic and lacks equipment that is now standard. Lots of new hotels have opened in Bukowina over the last few years, on the outside more attractive than this obviously Communist-era block: but inside it does the job. We wouldn't go anywhere else.

Definitely I would expect a lil' bit more from this place. Yes, the room was cozy, yes there was a bathroom, yes it was warm during the night..but, there was something missing, there was missing the atmosphere, good service, opportunity to make yourself a cup of tee, there wasn't any refrigerators..I'm far from comlpaining but if a hotel invites you for an Ester time and you can't feel a thing? Well in the hallway there were two kettles - the whole floor could use only these two ones - there was a sign "Don't take the kettle to your room" - ok, so there was an opportunity to make tee but...the kettles were gone. So I think if you pay their rates for the room and you actually can't use a basic facility there's something wrong. During the breakfast - there weren't any spoons - you had to ask for them - it's unusual. If you wanted cheese - you had to ask for it..these conveniences were reserved for the guests who bought an option: room-breakfast-dinner-supper. But during the breakfast if you have cereals and milk there's slight probability that you could use a spoon. I'm still surprised. Noisy drunk people at 3 am...nobody from the hotel was reacting. Not a good flashback.
