I brought my family here for a week of skiing. I regularly travel to Poland because of my Polish roots but this was a first time ski trip to Poland for my daughter, son-in-law and husband, who are more used to skiing in France and Austria. They have really enjoyed their stay. Rooms are clean and well presented. The food is delicious, especially the breakfast, the staff friendly and obliging. Ski school was easy to organise for my grandchildren. I have been particularly impressed with the hotel driver, who is always punctual to take us up to the ski slopes. The reception staff were also very obliging when my husband lost my laptop. They rang round everywhere possible until we were able to locate it on the ski bus! My only small gripe are the very high prices in the hotel shop compared to prices outside of the hotel. Otherwise a great stay, and alternative to the usual European ski resorts that we Brits frequent. The thermal baths have been a treat, especially as access is from the hotel.

wonderful hotel in a beautiful natural setting. It meets the expectations of even the most demanding guests. Wonderful, always helpful and kind staff that creates the atmosphere of this extraordinary place. Special thanks to Mrs. Teresa from the restaurant, emanating great kindness, professionalism - always with a beautiful smile.
We highly recommend the spa, with great physiotherapists - here special thanks to Mrs. Svetlana, Kamila, Magdalena and Mr. Mateusz. Thank you very much to the lifeguard Marcin for creating a great atmosphere.
In addition, according to previous reviews, a great menu in the restaurant, clean rooms cleaned every day. We hope to visit this place in the future.

We've spent three nights at the Hotel Bukovina and couldn't be happier!
The room was large, with expansive windows facing the woods, with plenty of sunshine in the afternoon.
The beds were incredibly comfortable and the bathroom was very stylish.
The spa was accessible from he hotel and consists of multiple warm water pools (I lost count!), three large ones of which are outdoors. Incredibly relaxing.
We were a 10 minute drive from the Tatra mountains so it was absolutely lovely to be able to soak in warm water after a few hours hiking.
The buffet breakfast and dinner were of a very high standard, with a large selection of high quality foods.

I am SO happy we decided to stay here and would love to have the opportunity to be back again in the future!

The hotel handles too many guests poorly. To eat breakfast you sometimes had to wait in line for a free table similarly with dinner. There is also a queue for coffee machines . At the thermal pools also a huge crowd finding a free place in the jacuzzi area in the pools is virtually impossible. If you did not buy a suite then the "quiet zone" at the pools extra charge. Hotel guests must take wet towels from the pools to the rooms can not be returned/replaced by the pools. Few attractions for children.

On the plus side - very warm water in the pools, large underground parking lot, hotel spa, varied menu.

The internet connection cant be worse... The food isnt good aswell and almost everything else that you want additionally is paid- you only have tap water for free. Overall this hotel is really bland, nothing unique to it other than a massive amount of pools they have outside for no reason whatsoever...

At the suggestion of my parents who had already been guests of this hotel several times, I decided to come to see the facility and perhaps book a stay for next year. We live abroad and are looking for a place to stay in the future. The hotel is beautiful, the surroundings are wonderful...
First, straight from the parking lot, we went to the Active Bar to rest for a while and drink something warm. Absolutely terrible service. No reaction to our arrival, no response to hello, we stood at the bar to order and the lady behind the bar (Ms. Julia) ignored us while doing something else. Finally, we managed to order... The lady was growling and gave the impression that she was here as a punishment and that she hated her job. No smile on his face, no eye contact. We had to repeat what we wanted to order several times, the lady was bored, impudent, engaging in unnecessary discussions and talking. I even pointed out to her that she was being rude...no reaction. Someone so unsuitable for the job shouldn't work there... if you don't like people, don't work with clients. I work in a hotel and I can't imagine treating a customer this way. We probably won't come back.

I spent the new year in Poland. the hotel is large, clean, staff friendly. Only part of the staff speak english but everyone wants to help you. The food is very good although it is only a Swedish buffet. It is very diversified. They also have a children's area where they can play under supervision. The hotel is very close to the ski slopes. The hotel also has a Spa which is very large and clean. Parking is underground and included in the room price.

The hotel is really on a very high standard. Very clean. Staff is attentive. The Club version is worth buying - it has lunch and dinner, as well as free spa massages, somme extra drinks, etc. Rooms are spacious and very clean. The spa and swimming pools are amazing. The breakfast is more than awesome, multiple choices, like in the world best hotels. It is my fifth stay during these 2020 summer holidays - and first in Poland - this breakfast is unbeatable the best in comparison ti Tuscany, Mykonos 5 star hotels. I will be back for sure.

Love this place for the greatest service, cleanest spa ever, comfortable rooms and great breakfast. No issues with a parking place. What’s more? Great location, good restaurants nearby. Although quite pricey this place is worth to visit!

Our family of 4 spent a week in Bukovina over the new year holiday period. This hotel and the services can be described as the best of times and the worst of times. Starting off with what goes well - the staff are super friendly, helpful and do all their best to make the guest stay as comfortable as possible. The hotel itself is modern with good size rooms some of which face the mountains and some of which face the car park. The food is buffet style and was of a good standard - varied each day and good selection.

Our package was bed, breakfast and lunch - it was expensive for what was received. We have stayed in numerous spa type resorts in Poland however this was lowest value for money. Aproximately $5 for a cup of tea and $4 for a coffee, hugely marked up wine and spirit selection - this meant the bars were quiet and most guests including ourselves bought supplies in the village and brought into the hotel - if the prices were reasonable they would sell more and the atmosphere in the bar and diso facilities in the hotel would be better.

The thermal pools are excellent and the highlight of the hotel however they are the major tourist draw in the surrounding region - either swim early or late to avoid the very busy pools. We were told that there is often 1,400 people in the baths at one time - fine if this was a purely independent commercial venture however not acceptable if you are charging high prices to hotel quests who have travelled for a 4 star experience.

As noted earlier the restaurant is very small and cannot cope when the hotel is full. There were a couple of occasions we were asked to go to another restaurant for breakfast - not ideal but not a big issue either. Staff were inspired to clear tables as fast as possible with the wish to turn tables over quickly to make space for other guests - slightly annoying after a while.

The other issue that arises when the hotel is busy is with the lifts. There are rooms on 4 floors but only 2 lifts to services guests and service staff - a big strategic mistake when building the hotel or a cost saving measure? Given all the leisure activities were on -1 or -2 then avoiding the lifts wasnt always an option.

The hotel has a no smoking policy throughout the hotel - smoke came into our room via the air conditioner from the day we arrived - the Sunday until the Thursday. Despite complaining about this daily nothing was done apart from we are looking into it- I got to the point of asking for a meeting with the Hotel Director, a Mrs. Waras however she showed no interest in meeting with me despite the reception staff setting up meetings on 2 occasions. Respect shown by Management to guests was lacking and the staff were left to apologise for the non commitment of their managers.

In summary nice modern hotel, very friendly english speaking staff with good buffet style food and excellent baths. The downside is the lack of value for money - invisible management, saving money on lack of lifts, cost of drinks over the top, overselling the thermal bath area - there are better 4 star resorts in Poland offering much higher value for money.

Good afternoon! I understand that you’ll arrive to Kraków, won’t you? If so, we can provide a transport by hotel bus from the airport. You have to know it’s an extra cost – 500 PLN. Please let us know if you are interested in this kind of transportation. Also there are other ways to get to our hotel – by train or by bus. You can get to the railway station Kraków Główny from the airport by taxi and from Karków to Poronin (train station one before last in Zakopane) or Zakopane by train. See a timetable here: rozklad-pkp.pl. One more option is to arrive by bus from Karków CDA (bus central station) to Zakopane. There are many transport companies to choose. You can find a bus here: en.e-podroznik.pl. In Zakopane (or Poronin) you can order a taxi or our hotel bus to get to Bukowina Tatrzańska and also there are buses starting from main bus station next to the railway station in Zakopane. A timetable is available on a bus stop. Best regards Agnieszka Kubik Junior sales specialist
