I stayed two nights while touring with the tour. The rooms are quite large and warm. Cleaning was good. But it was like a hostel. The staff was friendly. It was in the industrial area, far from Venice.
Essentials: perfect Wi-Fi, very fast and accepting VPN. great bed and mattress comfortable and exact hardness. Very good air conditioning but not regulation. Perfect shower with easy and accurate water taps. Good hot water. Important: good breakfast in general. Acceptable scrambled eggs, bacon and sausages. Incredible Italian coffee. Good choice of fruits. Not natural juices. Added values: attentive personnel, easy accessible free parking. Complimentary free water and slippers. Pretty big meeting room for business purposes. I didn't try the spa. Negative: restaurant not working so if you need to have dinner you need to take the car.
The hotel is located strategically in the Veneto region. The rooms on the back are very silent and one can sleep well, even leaving the window open. The room and bathroom are clean, but the bathroom has a foul smell. The serious problems start when you want to have breakfast. There is hardly any fruit and if any, it is freezing cold. Scrambled eggs are solid. Most of the mornings there is just one waitress, even when a whole bus-full of tourists has arrived the night before. The menu for dinner has very few options, but the available choices are usually reasonable, albeit expensive. I am told the restaurant embedded in the hotel has a different owner than the hotel.
PROS * Hotel was very clean * man on reception was very friendly and helpful *breakfast buffet was excellent with choices from cereal, toast, crossaints and a variety of hot and cold drinks *was nice and quiet *beds and sofa beds were very comfy to sleep in CONS *lady receptionist seemed like was in rush although she was friendly *evening meal choice wasnt good as we are vegetarians and could defo do with improving *restaurant staff didnt understand english or speak so made it harder *wifi was very weak *location quite difficult to find Overall the hotel in it self was really good and i would recommend anyone to stay here as defo worth the money however do ur research as to what the best route to get to hotel. Once we knew our routes made it easier to travel back and fourth …
The hotel is easy to find out. The receptionist was pleasant and knew English very well but she wasn’t forthcoming to help us even after seeing big luggages that we were carrying. She did not even volunteer to takes us to the hotel room as the rooms are slightly oddly placed. The reception doesn’t lead to hotel rooms directly. you have to get out if the reception an then walk around a little to reach the hotel rooms. As it was slightly dark when we checked in I actually missed the entrance to the hotel rooms and had to go all around the hotel to find my room. Once I found the first floor entrance the lights did not automatically switch on and had to struggle to see our room numbers. But, once we got in the room, the rooms were excellent. The room was spotlessly clean and the bed was comfortable. The AC was brill. The balcony was perfect and the road was quite. Toilet was also very clean. Had a very good sleep. Breakfast wasn’t up to the mark. It was okay. The internet was free but the speed was bit questionable. Anyway, I generally liked the hotel and the location. Its calm an relaxing. Staff need to please show some willingness to help their customers. At least they should offer some help.…
Hotel is located close to Treviso, not far from Venice. The hotel is older, room was enaught big, I have also balcony and nice bathroom. Unfortunately in my room sometimes during my 2 nights stay smelled something like sink from bathroom. The personell was kindly, helpfull and spoke english. Breakfast good. The hotel is good for short term stay without any problems. There was small sauna + tredmill (running belt).
It was getting late and we were running out of options on a Sunday when nothing seemed to be open. Staff were very helpful, pointed us in direction of a fantastic local restaurant as hotel restaurant was closed. Huge room, with all mod cons, and free wifi, along with breakfast included and a very friendly local waiter. Great little find
Our travel agent booked us at La Marca as part of a family vacation that took us between Venice and Florence. The hotel itself is up to the standards and the service was excellent. Breakfast was rich and diverse. The only problem was its relative distance from Venice, which we should have taken into consideration (we had to drive 40 minutes each time), so I guess the hotel would be better suited for short business trips.
We took one twin and one double room. Both the rooms were excellent. The twin room had a big balcony overlooking some buildings and gardens. It was perfect to relax there with a glass of wine after a long day. The bathroom was clean, had all the necessary toiletries, hair-dryer and towels. The rooms were cleaned daily and the towels were replaced. The breakfast was typical a continental breakfast. Almost everyday, either the utensils or bread basket or milk cans weren't sufficient but was replaced/ re-filled in 5-10 mins. The WiFi worked well and we could make VoIP calls as well. The hotel is about 10 mins away from the Treviso train station by car. From there, it's a 30 min train ride to Venice. The parking and train tickets are quite cheap. The hotel has a restaurant but was closed because of vacation for the week we stayed in, so really don't know about the quality of food. We enjoyed our stay there and if there is a chance, we would certainly go back there.…
The hotel looks like a typical motel indeed, however its totally new inside, the design is really good, rooms are spacious, and the balcon as well. And that s more important to me. There is a certain bush (dono the name) with flowers that has a awesome scent I liked it! :) Breakfast is super, you can find the traditional italian one as well as continental. One negative I can mention, is the speed of the wifi net. Its really slow and not stable. In general its worth the price.
