I had a great time with my family at villa Machiavelli! There are 10 bedrooms, one private pool and one pool for the whole resort, a spa, and many other amenities. What surprised me about the villa was they had books in the room! They have modern books, so I would recommend going into the rooms and hunting for a...

We are just coming back from a birthday bash that took place in and around Mangiacane. The rooms are nice and very distinct, some in the main palazzo, some in the adjacent building. The people were nice, the food was great and the view terrific (from one suite you can see the Duomo).

We visited here for our honeymoon for 2 nights, and were not disappointed. On arrival, the scenery was dramatic and views from the main building spanned florence and the classic rolling Tuscan hills. The staff were attentive without being in your face. The Terrace Suite was lovely, on two floors with a separate bathroom and large bed. The food was...

Such an unusual place. Incredible view. Great room! Culture and history everywhere. Ask the cook Francesco for his recommendations and try the meet tartare as a starter. The grand selection wine from the house own vineyard "Z" delicious. Stunning!

Riccardo did an exceptional job with our wine tasting service on May 25th. He spoiled us with his exclusive attention to our tasting and his focus to educating us on his particular wines and wines in general. Kudos to him. The grounds and surrounding area were quite beautiful as well.

Villa Mangiacane is a one of kind. Its location is unbeatable, service is on point and the grounds are breathtaking. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because when we checked in, we were told the main Villa, which you see online and on the website and think you are staying in, was rented out all...

The villa is conveniently located with a picturesque view of Duomo and the infamous Tuscan green hills. All the staff at the villa were cordial and very hospitable. I attended the cooking class with Chef Francesco Lagi. We were a group of 7. We drank the wine from the villa's winery, learned to make pizza, a few different pasta dishes...

This villa is gorgeous. I can't say enough good things about it. I don't even know where to start. The rooms were fabulous! We had a 4-poster King-sized bed and it was incredibly comfortable. The sunken tub was so nice & the separate shower was great. Every day they had turn down service or brought us a little treat -...
