We came with my wife to San Castellano because there was a story about the town in our local newspaper. And just by an accident we checked in to a same "hotel" where the journalist stayed. I was reading the story about Tuscany once again at the pool of Il Fedino and all of a sudden a lady from the...

I expected very much from this hotel due to its high ranking but even that I was amazed from the room we got. So large with high ceiling and lots of facilities in the room. The breakfast was very simple but tasty and hospitality was excellent. We strongly recommend staying in this superb hotel for as long as you can.

Wow! This has been the highlight of our trip to Italy, Alessandra and her husband Ahmed are fabulous, welcoming and friendly hosts, nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are huge, extremely quiet and the beds very comfortable, not to mention you are staying in an authentic 700 year old Villa that has been Alessandras family home, she told me...

This is the most beautiful hotel I have stayed in. The second best was in Sorrento, Italy. The villa is 700 years old, with a lovely garden and terrace overlooking the vineyard slopes of Chianti region. The rooms are preserved as they were 700 years ago, very high ceilings, large windows, terra cotta floors, etc. Yet it is provided with...

My husband and I spent 5 beautiful days in Villa Il Fedino over Thanksgiving 2013 and loved the gorgeous villa and the charming town. Alessandra, whose family owns the villa, is wonderfully attentive. She made delicious breakfast for us every day, and gave us great suggestions for exploring the area. We had the Lorenzo room, very secluded with a gorgeous...
