Healt and safety regulations don't apply to this hotel . Live cables in the room , I had an electric shock when I put the lamp on . They didn't even apologise . Horrible management . Not safe for families and kids , swimming pool area had few nails sticking out. Never responded to my emails never had the courage . Still waiting for father and son (managers,) for some apologies before .... They never gave me the name of father and son but I'm sure my lawyer will find them . This is an horrible place and for the Same money you will find better. This capodecina behaviour didn't work with me . Disgusting and disrespectful , hope they close soon.
silence, relax, private rooms, very good pozition. garden so beatiful. i took a dinner. sea good (sword fish) delicious. only services can be better. i have to carry own suitcase to my room like 300 metres. but i will stay again when i back sicily.
A three day family holiday that to my experience was one of the relaxed holidays ever. The hospitality was fantastic. Very clean rooms with facilities. We loved the massive grounds and our room had a part of it with sunbeds and armchairs. Well done and keep up your good work.
We chose this hotel because it is in a 'remote' area near Brucoli ... because we really wanted to have a 'chill out' holiday. We made a very good choice. With Etna as a back-drop and huge gardens we chilled out very quickly. Our apartment was spotlessly clean and serviced every day. The breakfast was good and the evening meals allowed us to choose either a fish menu or a meat menu. The staff are truly professional and so accommodating. Our attempts to speak Italian seemed to be appreciated by all! A huge thank you to Guiseppe and Alessandro and Cetina at Reception, Philipo, Simone and Paulo in the Restaurant, and also Manuele and Franka, the Chefs. The Team are like a family. We are already booked for next year ... that says it all!
Hotel Capo Campolato is a mix of hotel rooms and apartments - the apartments have a bedroom and a kitchen/diner plus bathroom and a semi-private patio area. As far as I can tell, all rooms have views of the sea, gardens and (if it's clear) Etna. The apartments are modest but well enough equipped, they are clean and if you need, say, a kettle then the front of house staff will happily loan you one.The bed is very comfortable and the aircon works just fine (and not too noisy either) You will need a car as it's, um, a bit of a way from anywhere. The facilities are nice, the grounds are lovely and the staff, particularly Alessandro and Guiseppe on reception, were brilliant. I think I'd go again.
Overall, this was a fine hotel, which would be great for a multi-week stay for a family vacation, since it has a kitchenette and a large, semi-private grassy space outside in the back. We stayed for only two nights and did not take advantage of all the amenities (kitchen, pool, beach, etc.) because we used it as a place to sleep after busy days of sight-seeing. The free breakfast was very underwhelming, but you can order a full breakfast with a separate fee. The main downside was the long walk from the parking area to our room on a path with several steps spaced out along the way, so taking the luggage (without any help) to and from the room was a challenge. But overall we enjoyed our stay.
We stayed here for one night on our way around Sicily, it would have been nice to be able to stay for longer. Our room was lovely and had a great balcony with sea views. Breakfast was good, nice range to choose from. It is close to Catania airport which was handy as we landed late.
Spacious apartments with veranda and park. Excellent dinner and breakfast. Ocean nearby but no beach as it is very rocky. Just the right place to relax. Need a car to get there. Offseason is the perfect time to visit.
Yes, this location is just yards from the blue-green sea, but that's just the beginning. The staff was the best, most helpful I've seen anywhere. And the restaurant was superb (we ate there twice). The "rooms" are suites, the grounds are stunning. We loved the quiet, a bit off the beaten path location, but easy enough to get to Catania and Siracusa. In addition, there is a wonderful breakfast buffet which you can enjoy on the outdoor terrace while you gaze at the sea.
The hotel was just 100 yards away from the blue Mediterranean waters!! The food was great ( the fish dishes were superb); albeit the breakfast could have been better spread. The lawns were so well maintained. Plenty of trails for a run/walk. They have 2 swimming pools and both well maintained. Rooms were homely and comfortable. The staff were very friendly. Enjoyed our stay.
