We've been going to Sicily every year for 10 years now, and, for us, every trip simply has to include a stay at Il Limoneto. On this beautiful island, Il Limoneto is an exceptionally beautiful place: situated amidst a sea of lemon trees, it's lovely and peaceful. And the owners (Fabrizio and Veronica and their family) are fantastic, hospitable people....

People traveling through Italy, can tell wonderful stories about everything they see and experience. The stories about the food, are often the most impressive. Sicily is no different. The meals are often simple, but explosive in flavour. Travelers, who arrive in San Leonardello, are there only because they have visited the Etna. Because in the hamlet at the foot of...

The whole estate is set within a lemon orchard. We spent four glorious days there. The weather was beautiful and the apartment. though a little basic, clean, comfortable and great value for money. Fabrizio and his family were very welcoming and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend. In fact, I'd like to go straight back there for another trip to this...

The room was clean, comfortable, full of local charm and well equipped. The grounds are gorgeous and the owners are very hospitable, knowledgeable of the area and responsive to any requests. I felt like familia! We will be staying again on our next trip.

Stayed at Il Limoneto for just five nights and managed to see and do a great deal. Fantastic location, and great views across to Mount Etna and the sea. Came with my father who had visited 20 years ago - and we were welcomed back like old friends. Fabrizio and his parents were delighted to see my father again. Farmhouse...

We checked in yesterday and found this this place is very nice and relaxing after a stressful drive. The farmhouse located on the hillside and has a wonderful view to the Mediterranean Sea. On the other side of the farmhouse is the Mt Etna. One can enjoy the view of Etna through the Lemon trees. The place smells like fresh...

I can just recommend to stay at Limoneto. We spent here 4 nights and wanted to stay longer. The farm is just fabulous. Good location, nice quiet accomodation, lemons everywehere and Fabrizio, the owner, is very friendly and helpful. We loved the silence, the nature, the breakfast and we´d like to stay at il Limoneto next time again.

My husband & I spent 9 glorious days in our own private villa with incredible views of Mt Etna & the Ionian Sea . Fabrizio & his family were wonderful hosts! We have already booked for next year! The scent in the air from the lemon trees was amazing! The wifi was the only downside as we had to either...

Was a little worried as we approached, as the Arcireale area is quite built-up, but once you leave the main road you quickly find yourself in a rural setting and the accommodation itself is surrounded by a lemon orchard - which the guests are welcomed to try. The accommodation is simple and very clean, the setting is very beautiful and...

This simple but delightful agritourismo is set in a beautiful lemon farm overlooking the sea below. It is self-catering (after the first breakfast) but it is a wonderful spot to try your own hands preparing a dish from some of the delicious fresh Sicilian produce and seafood. The clean and pleasant bedroom suites are infused with the delicate smell of...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Il Limoneto is a traditional farmhouse right in the heart of the Ionian coast, commonly known as the “Riviera dei Limoni”.It expands for over more than 4 hectares and is surrounded by a flourishing green terraced lemon orchard. From here you can admire the wonderful landscape and take a glimpse at its rare beauty, from Etna to the Ionian Sea and the rich nature reserve called “La Timpa” an area of natural beauty and dipped in a splendid garden of lemons and typical flowers of the Mediterranean.Today, after six generations, our family continue to produce “organic” lemons alongside with the Farmhouse activity. Accomodation is offered in the ancient manor house, cottages and a recently built dependence situated on old vineyard, overlooking the sea and Mount Etna. ... more   less

“We had a corner suite in a 4-unit building with a large shared deck divided by plants to provide privacy. It had a kitchen/sitting room, separate bedroom and bath. There was one single little house set off by itself that looked lovely and a unit that was in a multi-unit building on the second floor with a big view.”
