This lovely masseria is located just outside of Cisternino and easily accessible by car. There was a warm welcome by (I think) Rino. The masseria has an authenic feel to it. The room was spacious and very clean. There is a pool, but I didn't use it. Breakfast was awesome! There was plenty of choice and the homemade cakes were great! Great choice to stay here when you are in the Cisternino area.
We stayed at this wonderful villa for six nights. The host Reno was really helpful and the breakfasts were amazing because his mother cooks home made cakes every day which are delicious. The trulli had two bedrooms, a kitchen and separate living room which is great for families. They are cleaned daily and are immaculately clean. It also has a swimming pool which is well maintained and sun beds. The trulli is very well located about 2kms from the very pretty town which has great restaurants, shopping and supermarkets. There is also free car parking on site. Highly recommended.
Everything was top class! Rino and his wonderful family welcomed us like none else before! I recommend this enchanted place to everyone, especially those who love authenticity, nature and tranquility. We must go back!!!!!!!!
So many things to say about this place and difficult to find fault. We stayed following a friends wedding in the area and loved it. The Trullis are brilliant and original. We had a two bed Trulli, with kitchen, living space, two real bedrooms and bathroom. Couldn't really believe how spacious it was looking at it from the outside! The grounds have a nature trail, beautiful pool area, working farm (very quiet), a beautiful Masseria and the renovated Trullis. The breakfast is just lovely - the majority of the buffet table are sourced locally and many on the farm itself. All the breads, cakes and biscuits are home-made by the family onsite. We used the Masseria as a place to tour the local area and weren't disappointed there is so much to see and do! We understand that the owner will also start to offer meals onsite, which would be just perfect for guests. The family are so welcoming and they really make you feel at home. Missing it already!…
Excellent location approx. 10 mins drive from Cisternino and easy access to other towns in the region for days out. Excellent facilities; we stayed in the two bedroom trullo conversion. Lots of space, very clean and comfortable. Great hosts who could not have been more helpful & friendly, and always to hand. The olive farm surrounds the B&B and is a quiet, restful place. Lovely pool, although a little cold with lovely views while you are relaxing. The breakfast is outstanding; fresh croissants, bread, cakes, cold meats & cheese. A selection of fruit some of which is grown on the property and of course excellent coffee! We would absolutely recommend this place if you plan to stay in the area, we also found Cisternino to be the nicest white village that we visited.
