This was our first hotel of many during our one week stay in northern Italy. Have in mind that we arrived at around 10 pm due to a delayed flight, and needed a place to rest before starting our road trip. Perfect location regarding airport and Bergamo city centre. A bit outside the city core to let the juice of Italian culture slowly get to us. We found ourselves at the reception after getting to park our rental inside the hotel premises. Met by a friendly staff with a smile on his face, as if knowing he was the chosen one to redeem northern Italy’s reputation regarding Europe’s Covid outbreak. Entering our room, a bucket of chilled Prosecco and strawberries awaited us. Pre-ordered, not included. At 11 pm we wanted pasta, as any international, normal person would when in Italy their first day. The chef obliged and gave us room service at that hour. Drunk with Prosecco, strawberries and pasta, we slept through the night dreaming of the journey ahead. The bed linen was clean and the bathroom upheld its hygienic standard as it should. Breakfast awaited, and was mostly packaged baked goods. We even saw a guy just shoving tons of this stuff into a paper bag. The staff said it was ok. Partially continental breakfast. Coffee was great. All in all, a good start of a week long road trip. Room was ok, but fully functional.…
We were here for 2 nights and whilst the rooms are large enough the hotel is a bit unusual. For a start there is no restaurant and you need to venture out for dinner. They do provide a breakfast of sorts but is is very basic and plain. The hotel has an arty feel with paintings everywhere and even art-deco furniture to view. Adequate for a 1 night stay but I wouldn't stay there again.
Staff very helpful they arranged all transportation for my quick visit. Air-condition & WiFi are weak but the room is big and they have fridge, water heater and save. Hotel restaurant provide good quick meals.
Quite near the airport of Bergamo, in the middle of nowhere there is this old hotel. The room smelt awfully, and the place needs renovation desperately. It's a cheap solution just to sleep before flight and go. Don't spare a second night!
Hotel is superb, very clean and tidy. The rooms are not huge but very adequate for our needs, very comfortable beds, bathroom is small but well equipped. Staff very polite and very helpful, excellent continental breakfast. All in all a superb experience, and yes we would come back.
the hotel is very nice one with free parking. big rooms for family with kids. equipped kitchen .very good for family with kids and only 10 minutes to the airport. 5 minutes from train station to bergamo. good breakfast and very kind service including rented car to the hotel.
The hotel is in a good location if you are looking for a place in close proximity to the airport but not too close to hear the airplanes noise. It’s called Art Hotel and I know art is subjective thing but the lobby and reception were way too creepy looking for my taste. The room on the contrary was in a nice, simple design, spacious and comfortable. The Wi-Fi connection was good, too. They have free parking which was a plus for us. Very good place for $50 a night
First time in this hotel and, probably, last time either. On the pros: Global design of the hotel is original. Reception staff is kind. Room was really wide with a fantastic wooden ceiling. Very useful the underground parking. On the cons: Restaurant and breakfast staff is not much nice, kind and at your disposal. Rooms are a mix of old and new and the cleaning could be done better. Air conditioning is not working properly and didn't cool down the room. Breakfast quality is nothing special nor is the variety. Globally it's an hotel that seems quite nice, but it isn't.
The hotel is different than most other places because of the design, the art and some very spacious rooms on top floor. It’s quiet but still very close to Bergamo city and the airport. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is complimentary and a good buffet with plenty of choices. In the cafe you can order all kind of drinks and in the evening a selection of foods which are ok. The hotel got free parking also in the parking garage. It’s a perfect place to rest either after your arrival in the area or the night before departure. Prices are fair, it’s very affordable.
Just a few Km from the airport but also the same distance from Bergamo city center. Good price, but not exceptional. Big room and comfortable bed, some details in the room would need a refreshment, paint etc. Big breakfast but still to many types of cookies instead of real food. The boiled eggs were made a few days ago and all green inside....
