Absolutely confortable and welcoming place where to stay with a family. My 2-years old baby had a ball all stay, playing with miniclub and in the swimming pools. Rooms large and confortable but the most impressive feature is the food offer, delicious and so varied. Only low was the cleaness of the rooms, to improve. Other than that, absolutely a place to recommend!!
The staff in the wellness area has been very rude in telling, better almost yelling at us that bathing suit is MANDATORY in the sauna, no matter if we were wearing the towel. This is the FIRST TIME EVER we heard that you don’t enter in a sauna naked!!! I believe the manager should teach the staff how worldwide you behave in a sauna. We will never go back to that Hotel/Residence for that reason.
Some stuff are slow in the restaurant and i think i see racist in their part because they passed us everytime we order.we stayed their 3 days. Some stuff are well mannered but i see some who are not.but overall it’s a thumbs up for me for those who are welcoming us well.
We came here to cycle and ski in the area. The bikes are stored in the ski area so plenty of room, the cycling is to die for! especially if you manage to be here on an an "enjoy stelvio" weekend when some roads are shut to cars. The wellness centre was great, the gym even had free weights, and they will open it outside normal hours if you request it. if you book with the hotel, this is included in the price. The restaurant food was great, different every night and a huge choice. The 3 Signori house wine is superb! The staff were all very friendly and helpful. While we were there, one of the receptionists was a runner and recommended some great routes, totally un-touristy.. Our room was spacious and the toiletries were lovely, the shower was incredible. The garage was 5€ for 24 hours, there were 5 free places outside which were always full! All in all a great place!…
My 13 year old son went on a school ski trip and stayed here. Food was good but repetitive within the week. Staff were friendly. Spa looked nice but didn’t visit. Rooms were clean and in good condition. Beds were comfy. It was not ski in ski out at any level. Boot room was remote and awkward to get to and from. Hotel is on a hill so walking back after a day skiing was tiring. Resort is small but good for beginners.
A great place to stay as the rooms are spacious the wellness centre is brilliant (13 euros extra charge) there’s a garage (extra charge) and the pizzeria is excellent and restaurant with a good atmosphere (top singer!) and moreover you can ski down to the main chair lift. I’ve said elsewhere that the lifts are a bit antiquated and the resort isn’t well linked but the hotel here is well worth staying in even if it’s a bit on the expensive side. There’s nothing the staff won’t do for you and they are all very friendly.
Has a lovely trip to this hotel. Good rooms and beds very comfortable. The breakfast was fantastic and plenty of choice. The spa was lovely too. What I really want to praise is the service. The staff were fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble. They worked so hard - mornings and evenings. It was very much appreciated by this family.
We stayed for 3 nights, 2 adults and 2 kids (4 yrs and 4 month old). The room is very spacious, there is enough closet space, a comfortable living room w pull out couch and great view from balcony. The hotel has rooms on 3 floors, we were on the 1st. 2 minor observations: first, it would be nice to have a small coffee machine in the room. Second, our room was located just above the smoking area of the restaurant. Once we opened the window, we had no other option than closing it since the cigarette smoke would be very pronounced. This is easy to fix, just tell your restaurant staff to smoke away from the rooms :) Front desk staff was very cordial and accommodating, thank you Michela (hope I got your name right!) Restaurant staff was awesome as well.we had dinner buffet twice and we enjoyed the variety of options. Breakfast was also good. The hotel has 7 parking spots outside (free) or you can park on one of their garages for €10 a night. We will come back!! Thank you FM…
We've chosen the property by chance, as were in need to spend a night closer to the Stelvio Pass. It exceeded our expectations, as appeared to offer very convenient premises with all amenities, plenty of space and variety of activities inside, as well as outside. Lovely location. Amazing mountain view - close slopes via wide panoramic glass wall. Helpful staff. Dinner menu looked attractive, so we decided to try. The dinner was superb! Local specialties and exquisite modern dishes. Perfect taste and very efficient service. Our pleasure to recommend the residence to nature lovers, and would be happy to visit again ourselves.
This was our second visit to this hotel having visited in Feb 2017. We were a party of 15 skiing. I base this review on the price we paid and what we expected. I give it five stars as we had a fantastic holiday. The hotel is extremely clean. It is spacious and the rooms are large. The staff were wonderful. Very friendly and cannot do enough to help. Waiters, bar staff and reception were all lovely. Food was buffet style with numerous choices. Adults really enjoyed the food, venison, beef, pork, fish, etc. Children also really enjoyed the food, with a good selection of pasta or pizza for them. The SPA was good after a days skiing but you have to pay extra depending on who you book with. The hotel location is very good. Great views, ski in and out. Ski in us via a red run, ski out via a track to the base of the two person lift. There can be some noise from rooms next door but not enough to annoy us. The ski area itself is small but good. Easy for large groups to meet up. Some big altitude drops for a small resort. Sunny valley is amazingly good on a blue sky day. We had a huge snow dump mid week and sunny valley (beyond the mid gondola point) was closed for three days. That was frustrating as it limits your ski area hugely. We felt in France or Austria the infrastructure is better and probably would have been made safe and opened quicker. That is no fault if the hotel. It’s a small Italian resort and by being small and friendly you don’t have the big infrastructure of the lift systems elsewhere, but you get a charming village instead. Some investment is needed in the lifts, another chair lift is needed at the top of the two person chair lift from resort. Overall the skiing is really good, easy to hit the same miles per day as I did in Val Thoren in January. Couple of tips for lunch. Sunny Valley is a great spot br more expensive and average food. The refuge 2000 at the bottom of the blue is better food and price. Also try the refuge at the gondola mid station. It’s not on trip advisor but a brilliant bar. It’s run by Guiseppi who lives there and it’s a brilliant beer stop on the way home. Lots of English schools visit here in UK holidays and you can see why. Reasonably priced, easy to meet up, skiing for all abilities. We booked with Ski and Sport Dronfield. They were very very good and their rep Jeni was fantastic. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel and ski resort. The Italians in the hotel and every bar and restaurant we visited were kind, helpful and funny. See you in 2020. …
