We did not stay at the hotel we used the beach and the umbrella and beds, Manos who ran the beach was very polite and helpful. He made our holiday comfortable as there was no pressure just very chilled and relaxed. He told us about the snack bar and also said that we could eat at the hotel which we did nearly every day. The food was so fresh and delious and I would like to say a big thank you to everyone at the hotel for making us welcome. We enjoyed it so much that hopefully if we come back to kefalonia we will definitely be visiting here. Once again thank you all so very much Kim & Paul x

We didn’t stay at the hotel but we used the beach facilities. Manos took our orders daily from water to ice cream to lunch. Prompt and attentive. They didn’t do a veggie burger but Manos said he’d organise it for us. Wow, one of the best Veggie burgers we’ve ever had, absolutely delicious. If I return to Lixouri, I’ll be eating there and stay there.

This hotel is one of the best I’ve ever stayed at, everything is taken care of, so you have the most relaxing time. We booked only 2 days before flying out & payed for the junior suite, when we arrived we upgraded to the luxury suite. The room is very spacious, with every knock & cranny used to perfection, there is every mod con you require including a kitchen area & smart T.V. area. The bed is pure luxury to sleep on & super king size, there is a lot of cupboard space to, plus a balcony with sea view. Our hosts Anastasia & Demitri are wonderful, nothing is to much, they go the extra mile & make you feel part of the family. ( Thank You both ! ) Breakfast is included in the price of the room & is excellent for variation on homemade cakes & pastries, the fruit salad is lovely too, you can eggs cooked anyway, a must try is the Greek omelette. We definitely will be back asap....

Aura boutique hotel is a little gem of a place. Truly a home from home. From the moment we arrived we were greeted with the warmest of welcomes and we were thrilled with our room. Aura is a small family run boutique hotel with every attention to detail being considered. Very clean. Very modern and very nice. Anastasia and Demetri really look after you and you know that family and friendship is important here. Lovely yummy breakfast, equally yummy cakes and quiet enough for a relaxing break. We will definitely want to stay again. Thank you for your kindness. Ellen xx
