We arrived by motorbike off the ferry into Cherbourg at 19.15 and rather than drive for a few hours further south we had planned to stay at this hotel overnight and get a good start the following day. The parking was excellent and the staff friendly and helpful. Our room was a good size with a comfortable bed. The hotel...

Really nice hotel just on the outskirts of town . Staff are great and the rooms are huge and very clean and well equipped. I didn't have an evening meal here but the restaurant looked very inviting , next time I will eat here for sure. As a coeliac I had warned them in advance and they supplied gluten free...

We've always been high on this place but the last visit caused us to drop the rating a couple of notches. Still lovely rooms, service, level of comfort, price etc. However, the adjacent restaurant -which is the only option unless you get in a car - was for the first time a disappointment ( see separate review). Previously the combination...

Cathy and Phillipe were wonderful hosts. Our room was very nice and very clean. We had a balcony that overlooked the small yard in front of reception. Breakfast was nice (continental). Parking right in front of the hotel. Cathy fetched fans for our room since it was warm outside. Room comes with a mini fridge and stocked with water every...

We arrived straight from the ferry and were greeted by the lovely Cathy. Very comfortable family room, perfect for us. Great nights sleep, plenty of hot water and a lovely breakfast. Extremely good value and I'd recommend to anyone. We also got back into Cherbourg earlier than expected so managed to book again via email really easily. Definitely be going...

We have stayed here 3 times, most recently we were surprised to find it cheaper than the Ibis for a one night stay. Great location for Cherbourg centre and La Glacerie if you're shopping. Surprisingly high quality rooms - elegant and comfortable - seems like you're treating yourself. The attached restaurant is run seperately but is excellent also. We always...

This hotel is ideally placed for travellers using the Port of Cherbourg. The accommodation is clean, modern and extremely comfortable. We had a room with a balcony and we would rate this Hotel as a 5 star location with a 3 star price tag. The breakfast was served in an unusual very pleasant setting and the range of the menu...

Had booked this hotel for the night before catching the ferry. We arrived around 7 pm. We had been driving all day and we were tired and hungry. While the room was really nice, well equipped, clean and comfortable, we were very disappointed to find that the on-site restaurant was closed and although we walked around Tourlaville for almost 2...

Stayed overnight before catching ferry back to Poole following morning. Very comfortable room and excellent bathroom, shower & breakfast. Mme Charrayre was very helpful and posted on my phone charger and UK converter plug which I stupidly left behind (bet I'm not the first or last :-) If you need an Hotel in Cherbourg I would definitely recommend this one.

We stayed here before getting the ferry the next day as we wanted somewhere safe to park. The rooms were very spacious and comfortable, and with our own front door we weren't disturbed by noise etc. It's on a we weren't main road but no noise from traffic either. The room was warm and very elegant, and we really got...
