Firstly, the photographs on the Jet2 site flatter this hotel. The rooms are very small and it’s a lottery if you get any kind of view. Air conditioning is quite noisy and you can never get the temperature right. Either freezing or clammy. Tea and coffee are not good with some kind of ‘all in one’ coffee which was awful. Bathroom is also small. I could touch both walls with arms outstretched. Shower just ok. The balcony is also very small. Breakfast wasn’t good. There was the odd item that was ok such as the bread and butter pudding (!?) but didn’t really want it the second day. The ‘fresh’ fruit was definitely not fresh. Hard unripe nectarines, and a choice of tinned fruit. The bean to cup coffee machine was broken and jugs of warm filter coffee as the alternative. The swimming pool seems to have been built in completely the wrong location, where it get’s virtually no sun at all, resulting in it being very cold, and explained why no one ever used it (except us once)! It is located away from the bar area to the side of the hotel. The bar had the shutters half down permanently and the area was very, very dark at night with little lighting. They have what should be a good system of using WhatsApp to order your drinks or ask for any help re trips, car hire etc, but you never got to know the cost of the drinks until you get the bill at the end of your stay. You sign a scrap of paper entering your room number and date each time, you have drinks, which is a very poor system. There is no food other than breakfast. Forget the Bali beds and the jacuzzi’s as shown in the photos they are covered up and look like they haven’t been used for some considerable time. The staff are friendly and helpful. Location is good with a short 15 minutes walk into Supetar.

This was the second visit to this island. Last time we didn't book a room before, but this time we did because a tourist office recommend that. Unfortunately we had to pay in advance. 1. The terrace outside the room resembled a prison yard. There was only a white wall to look at and if you want to sit there in the summer it i think that it can be very hot. Probably the rooms with a balcony have a better view. 2. The photo of the outdoor pool appears to be manipulated. It was much smaller than I had expected. The hotel was should have a garden area but we didn't see any park- area near the pool or outside the breakfast room. I had intended to take a very short swim in the morning, but it was not possible due to cleaning. The day before I had realized, that the pool was probably not suitable for swimming if there were more than two people in the pool. 3. The surroundings around the hotel and the walking path to the old town were not inspiring and there was mostly no life. I think the whole area was too touristy. I appreciated that it was possible to sit outside and have breakfast. The meal was better than we had expected, but the environment was not inspiring. We realized that we had been deceived by the positive information on the Internet. I find it remarkable when hotels cooperate with companies and agents that provide guests with this kind of misinformation. Also the price information had been unclear. We had planned to stay one more day because of the ferry traffic. We had an agreement with a man (the owner?) the day before, but the next morning the agreement wasn’t valid anymore and the price of the room was moor expensive then the day before . I am glad that I asked, so we could check out before it was too late. I don’t like to argue about prices, but a verbal agreement should bee valid.

A wonderful small hotel in quiet location but near to beach, shops and other facilities. The rooms were well equipped, comfortable and spotlessly clean and airy. Zlatan and Dora could not have been more helpful and friendly, making our stay even more enjoyable. It was lovely to have the garden area, as well as the pool, so relaxing and welcoming all round. We booked a day trip to see the sights on an off-road vehicle with guide. At first it seemed rather pricey but was tremendously enjoyable, as we learned so much about the Island history and culture, included a dip in the beautiful sea, brunch tasting and delicious late lunch at an eco farm. Highly recommended and can be booked via the hotel. Would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel with its quiet, welcoming atmosphere.

Just had our second holiday at the Adriatica and it won’t be the last! Very friendly small hotel. The owner and receptionist made us very welcome and dealt with any queries quickly. Excellent breakfast with lots of choice. Plenty of fresh fruit, seeds, yogurt, fabulous cakes and also cooked options. There’s a heated outdoor pool though we didn’t use it, preferring the sea. Also a garden and bar. Less than 5 minutes’ walk to the nearest beach. 10/15 minutes for some water sports. 15 minutes’ walk to the harbour for big choice of restaurants and there are some closer. Supermarket next door. Bike hire just over the road. An excellent base for a relaxing and active holiday. Thank you Zlatan and Dora

Arrived at the hotel mid afternoon and to be quite honest we were a little bit underwhelmed by the front. Once through the door we were met by Dora [assistant manger] then everything changed we sat down and she explained everything to us and how they use technology to keep in touch we were a bit unsure but it worked perfectly. Zlatan[manager]/Dora kept us informed and were back to us within 5 minutes of our quires. Bedrooms were comfortable and well equipped. Breakfast was very enjoyable and had more than enough choice. All the staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough for us. We found the walk to the harbour a good 15 minutes but found a bar where we use to stop for a drink. If we stayed in this part of the world again would we stay here again most definitely. One last thing nothing to do with the hotel we never found the sandy beach. Zlatan/Dora you run a nice hotel. Good luck for the future. Gareth+Lesley Bayley.

When we arrived arrived we were immediately killed with kindness from the staff and they were always happy to help. The rooms are very basic, Wicker style furniture with flat pack cupboards. All functional but nothing special. The bathroom is small with a basic walk in shower. Nothing spelled quality at this price point. Was happy with the location, easy to walk to anything you may need. The breakfast was abysmal, plenty of selection but little we wanted to eat, croissant that was hard enough to be considered a weapon and hot dog sausages? Not sure who would want those at an adult only hotel. Both of us had jam and toast daily. We had a great holiday but was disappointed with the hotel, having stopped in cavtat a few years earlier at a similar cost, the hotel difference was chalk and cheese and cavtat was more in the peak season. Had a great time but hoped for better

I spent a solo week at The Hotel Villa Adriatica. I received a very warm welcome from Zlatan and his team, where I was given information on the amenities of the hotel and the town of Supestar. The hotel is tucked down a quiet side street. It has a relaxing reception area, gardens and dining area. The marble stairs lead me to my room which overlooked the sea from the side of the balcony and up a leafy side street ahead. The breakfasts had an excellent buffet choice with lots of freshly prepared dishes using local produce. I went on holiday to do lot's of walking to beaches. The hotel is excellently positioned for this and just a 5 minute walk down to the beautiful harbour area of Supestar. An excellent week to find peace and tranquility on the beautiful island of Brac.
