For those looking for onsen hotel in Hokkaido Tsuraga chain hotels is where you should start. We stayed at two if their hotels during this trip. Great food and great hot springs. Great attention to details. The only compliant I have was a lack smoke free rooms for Japanese style room ( the most affordable rooms).

The location is not very nice and facilitates looks old. However buffets are nice, spa is fine too. The price is very reasonable. The common Tsuruga's antique audio here consists of a rare electrostatic speakers. This is my favorite hotel in the east part of Hokkaido.

Visited this hotel during a trip to Hokkaido in September. Such a beautiful hotel with outstanding onsen amenities. We had such a pleasant stay there. 1. Arrived a bit too early (1pm), therefore we weren't able to check in. Left luggage with them and drove off to have lunch in the town of Abashiri. Came back at 3pm and they...

This Tsuruga hotel asked me to walk without slipper, although I ask them, who refused to provide such arrangement and strongly asked me to walk with only my socks. Since I had to stay in same manner at two Tsuruga hotels consecutively, I had to use my cane after the stay here. I will never go back to such hotel...

My husband and I had one night here as a special treat on our Japan journey. Unfortunately we arrived too early for check in, so were told to wait in the lounge until 3. First time we have encountered this. However we were permitted to check in at 2.15. We had a western room, which was nice, but nothing outstanding....

The two rooms we were given splendid and with a beautiful view. Dinner and breakfast buffet were both excellent, the onsen very good and relaxing and the...

How we ended up staying in this hotel is just by chance. I wanted to thank hotel.com for upgrading us to stay at this hotel. Initially we have booked in other hotel but as the hotel we booked is closed for unknown reasons, hotel.com contacted us and said they have upgraded us to stay at this hotel. When we arrived,...

This is a kind of fancy hotel located on a hilltop near Lake Abashiri. Our room came with a view of a typical Hokkaido fields of sugar beats and barley and beyond them was Lake Abashiri. The room was very comfortable with two twin beds. It also came with a nice bathroom with a full bath tub. The hotel has...
