Though it is a Little bit out of town, take bus to Mirani, this is a good priced and good quality atmosferic hotel Ryokan style, and with free use of next door situated bath house. I did not try it, but you can order dinner to your room. Looked delicious.
This was our second stay at the Urashima. This Ryokan is about 6k from the station (about 2k if you arrive by Shinkansen). There is a local bus stop nearby. A brand new supermarket and a coin laundry are just around the corner. The rooms are Japanese style tatami rooms - nicely renovated since our last visit three years ago. The Ryokan is directly connected to the next door onsen with a separate entrance and free to use for the guests of Urashima. There is free coffee in the lobby. This time we did not eat there, but I remember that the food was good, too. Japanese style breakfast.
