Very peaceful resort on the top of the beach. Although you can’t see the The pretty beach from your rooms , it’s just is a few minutes walk down from the resort. Has A beautiful pool , and loads of wellness activities including yoga , meditation etc. The food is quite tasty & healthy too , not heavy. The team is warm & friendly! The resort is quite secluded from the outside world , so in that sense you have not many options for any local indulgence . If you love ❤️ your daru , please carry it along with mixers .

We spent 5 days in Swaswara in Gokarna and enjoyed it a lot. Service was great, rooms were very nicely kept and overall staff was super friendly and polite. We enjoyed some yoga and meditation lessons, as well as the pottery art and the painting. We even bought some paintings from the "resident" artist, Matthew, as we liked them a lot. The pool was very nice and refreshing, albeit could have a lil bit too much of chlorine, at least for our eyes. The menu of the restaurant was ok, not amazing, but ok. Overall, we came to detox 5 days and we achieved it.

Everything about this place was a complex puzzle for me as right from the minute I checked in until I checked out I was being treated to a variety of contrasting script - in terms of the property’s principles, facilities, and policies. They are not a full blown Wellness retreat, neither are they a fancy resort. They dont serve alcohol or even beer , but offer Wine on the menu. They are all about pure , organic and minimalistic eating, but offer Non-vegetarian food and fancy egg dishes. They are minimalistic in the room amenities but have thrown in an air conditioner. They dont offer WiFi, but allow all mobiles to be connected and used via 4G. The list goes on and on. But overall it was a nice place to relax and chill out and get some quiet time away from the noise and buzz of the beachfront. LOCATION: Good location right next to Om beach, with private access to the beach. DINE + DRINK: The restaurant that serves Breakfast has a good menu and healthy food. And also serve good Coffee and Tea in the afternoons ROOM: We stayed in a Konkan Villa, so this review is based on that; VIEW: Sweet view of the Water body behind the VIlla ; SIZE: Very spacious villa. Lots of cool areas to lounge and chill with your book or device; AIR-CON: Perfectly functioning cooler that helped in setting the perfect room temperature; BED: Comfortable bed that played the expected part to put me to sleep; BATHROOM: Stand in shower; TOILETRIES: Good organic spa quality cosmetics FACILITIES: No Gym. But they do have a good Spa and a lovely outdoor Swimming pool. SERVICE: Friendly staff that took care of all my needs with a smile and made us feel pampered and well taken care of. HOW WIRED YOU WILL BE: NO Wifi in the room, and a very weak WiFi near the Lobby. No TV in the room too.…

We visited this property during Christmas, a group of 4 adults ands 2 toddlers and 12 year old. My wife had fractured her leg and she was in a wheelchair. Nevertheless we had superb time Highlights: Location Property Clean Serene Peaceful Proximity to Om Beach Lowlight: Lack of in-room dining

We were 4 families who had visited SwaSwara at GoKarna in the month of October 2020 . I must stay the cottages were excellent , contemporary design with huge space. The king size bed can easily accommodate 2 adults . The cottages is the most highlighted aspect of this resort The food is very different from normal hotel or resort food as this is a wellness resort so they will cook food which is good for human body & healthy with no compromise on the taste The staff was very friendly & ensure that they had accommodated all our small request to ensure we were happy in those 3 days Most of there outdoor activities & seating were closed due to restrictions because of Virus but i can image under normal circumstances it would have been such a nice experience to have those lovely open sky settings I don't think that there would be a better place in GoKarna other than SwaSwara…
