We only spent 3 days here, but it was well worth the 2 hour boat ride. It feels like you're on the edge of the world here; it's the most peaceful and beautiful place to spend a vacation and recharge. The staff is very friendly and make you feel right at home. The majority of our trip we relaxed on...

Punta Faro was beautiful. It is a two-hour comfortable boat ride from Cartagena to the island. Once there, we were greeted with a coconut drink and were led to orientation where they explained everything the resort had to offer, followed by a nice lunch. This hotel was great, we had an ocean front room with a porch that was absolutely...

We stayed 2 nights with my Gf (regretted not staying longer), one of the best beaches we have been so far, nice staff... Hotel is a bit pricey, but since is a 5 star hotel in a mostly private island it makes sense... Every night the dinner is served in a different garden of the hotel, which makes dinning an...

We stayed at the intercontinetal in boccagrand the night before our transfer. This was great as Regetta hotel was next door for shuttle to port. The shuttle was 2 minutes and the boat ride to Punta Faro was just over 2 hours way there, 2 hours way home. They provide water. Once on the island we were greeted with a...

We learned about Punta Faro through our travel advisor, and are so glad we took her recommendation to go. It's a bit of a haul to get here (and the boat may not leave on time) but it's totally worth the trip. Punta Faro is a small private community hotel, with lovely huts right on the water, tons of activities,...

The water is beautiful , you can snorkel right off the white sand beach a the resort. The owners and staff make you feel welcome the whole time. The food was fantastic and is...

Punta Faro is a hotel two hours away from Cartagena. It is a great place to forget everything. The beach is wonderful and you can enjoy the bar service there. The sea water is clean and you can see fishes swimming around you. The food is great and it is included in the price. Don't miss the plancton tour! It's...

We spent 5 days and 4 nights here in May, 2016. Great spot to unwind and wile the day away. While we were there it was really hot and humid the first couple of days, but after some acclimating (and a decent cloud cover), it was pleasant to be out and about...but be ready to shower a lot! For activities,...

This island is 2 hours from Cartagena. During our visit in May we were only 10 people at the hotel, very discrete and private. The food is amazing, very fresh, plenty of options. An excellent place to relax and enjoy of the ocean, weather and the locals. Amazing service and great number of activities to participate.

My husband and I spent a week-long honeymoon in Punta Faro after we got married in Colombia in December (he's Colombian). The hotel occupies about half of a small island. It was the perfect place to have a relaxing, romantic, and fun honeymoon. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The service is fantastic. The whole staff (and the owner, who...
