Not the longest of courses but none the worse for it. Disappointing that in early April the pro shop and brasserie were closed. Almost uniquely for a golf course the fairways were covered in daisies. Recently tined greens didn't help.

Many thanks for commenting on TripAdvisor following your recent visit to Highbullen Hotel, Golf and Country Club. I am sorry that you were disappointed in some areas, both the tining on the greens and the daisies were treatment that regrettably have been delayed by the cold nights and very wet days recently. The Brasserie in in the process of an...

We returned again to Highbullen! First visited in 1983! Room 46 is just what is needed with plenty of sitting space. New power shower needed - I gather it is going to be done - hopefully in time for our next visit! We stayed four nights with three of them with friends. All meals were excellent, as ever. A pity...

Stayed here with my partner and dog for a night at the weekend. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. The room was very comfortable, huge bed and excellent shower. Set in beautiful grounds, astounding views - very rural and peaceful.

This was just a one night business trip - I wish I had longer to have enjoyed the facilities. The journey in can be a little difficult due to the single track roads but once there the hotel is set in stunning scenery and is a great place to stay. Friendly & efficient check in with my room upgraded. The...

Booked a 2 night stay and wasn't disappointed, far from it. Our accommodation was in one of the Courtyard bedrooms, number 43, it's a four poster bedroom and is featured in their Resort brochure. We had dinner on our first night in the Devon View restaurant and not only was dinner and the service very good but the views are...

Treatments: My mum and I booked a spa treatment with Denise Brend which we had before our afternoon tea. I had a pregnancy massage (at 36 weeks) and mum had a mini facial. The massage was the best massage I've had! It was so relaxing, Denise made me feel very reassured and relaxed & my mum also had a similar...

Staff very friendly and efficient. Got our room very early as using the facilities. Big room, well equipped. Very quiet.Food excellent. HIGHLIGHT - the best facial and Indian head massage I have ever had. Denise is outstanding. Wish I had had time for more sessions. The golf course was closed but the golf simulator was apparently a great substitute.

Lovely setting for a country break so it fits the bill from the start. Warm welcome from Reception also set the tone. Very spacious room (46) in one of the converted estate buildings a short walk from the main building. We were fine with this but if it had been tipping it down the charm may have worn off the...

We recently stayed at the Highbullen Hotel for two nights and came away wondering why we hadn't stayed there before; it was lovely. The hotel is set in beautiful, well-maintained grounds and there are wonderful views of the surrounding countryside. Accommodation is either in the main hotel or in converted outbuildings; rooms are very comfortable, lovely and warm, well-furnished &...

Dear Sonia, Thank you for your detailed review. I was delighted to note your comments regarding your room, food and leisure facilities, but note your comments regarding the changing rooms and lockers. I can confirm that one key doesn't fit all.
