this historic cottage on Lake Tekapo shores has the most breath taking, uninterrupted views of the lake and surrounding mountains. The cottage is a 5-7 min walk from the town. It has been lovingly and tastefully decorated combining old and new, luxuriously comfortable without being ostentatious. Everything one could want for self catering is provided-even a picnic basket!!! I just...

During our visit to NZ last November we stayed two nights at Parkbrae Estate. We were upgraded to Mary Macs Cottage. Very nicely located directly by the lake. 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom, cottage well equipped. We enjoyed our stay very much. Thelakeview is unbelievable and Lake Tekapo is definitely worth a stop.

My friend and I stayed at the Opera House. We received a very warm welcome, the room was most comfortable and the view of the lake, the Heritage Church of the Good Shepherd and James Mackenzie's dog just beautiful.

We stayed in Garden Studio for our son's wedding recently. We were delighted with the location, could not fault it The accomodation was very disappointing. We had occasion to look behind curtains when we lost something. There was thick dust everywhere, even along the side of the TV stand. The furnishings, decorations and equipment are old fashioned. We did not...

It was well equipped but would need a coffee plunger and ice trays to make the experience complete. It is a quiet and pleasant...

We stayed in The Opera House, which was very well appointed and comfortable. The staff member in reception was very friendly and had good local knowledge. The views were great. Loved it. It was a short walk to local shops and restaurants. Parking was very convenient.

Amazing location right on the lakefront across the road from the Church of St John and the statue of the dog. Very cute little cottage with everything you could possibly need. We had such an enjoyable stay. Our visitors from Japan were suitably impressed. Everyone we dealt with at the Estate was friendly and helpful and took the time to...

My husband and I took both of our parents to New Zealand for a family trip and spent 2 nights in Tekapo. We're so lucky to choose Parkbrae Estate as our accommodation in this heaven like small town. We stayed in Aldourie Lodge which is an elegant old-fashioned beautiful house with huge spaces. My mother and mother-in-law loved the giant...
