My husband won a bed and breakfast voucher at our tennis club trivia night so already this is a business that supports the local community. We had an opportunity to use it as we were having dinner with friends at a restaurant in Pinewood just a two minute walk across the carparks. Allowing us both to have a drink with...

Easy check-in at 9:00pm on a Sunday night and the receptionist gave me all the tips on where to eat that night. Housekeeping was excellent, the room was cleaned and serviced very well. Breakfast was outstanding and very good value for money. Very tasty and quick. But the best part of breakfast was Danak, she always had a smile and...

Quiet & comfortable accomadation, nothing upmarket about room however clean tidy and quiet. Agree Bathroom fan equivilent to an old 747 taking off but apart from that good value if needing to be close to Mount Waverly business district. excellent selection of food nearby either onsite or at loacl small shopping centre (2 minutes walk) that also includes a supermarket....

Despite being next to the Monash Freeway, and on busy Blackburn Rd, there was no trouble getting in or out - in fact, you are within a few metres off the freeway onramp. It was also surprisingly quiet, except for the noisy and powerful fan in the bathroom that was directly operated by the one bathroom light switch - making...

Late meeting and I needed somewhere to stay close to my office. Used a couple of local options in the past but Hotel Bruce County is best by far. The hotel offers good prices and comfortable rooms and is quiet considering it is located right on the Monash Freeway.

Reasonable hotel - not overly flash - but staff very friendly / helpful. Breakfasts were reasonable. Bedroom aircon wasn't that great at cooling down the room - took ages, and was noisy. TVs in the rooms were quite small, and a fairly limited choice of channels.

Over priced rooms in a quiet area. Rooms were large, had Foxtel, minibar, shower and toilet. Could not hear the sound of the freeway. Large breakfast, bar was great, with good selection of beers on tap. Ate at the bar for dinner, one of the best steaks I have ever had - compliments to the chef.

The room was basic but clean and comfortable. I was just there to eat and sleep, so it served it's purpose. The reception furniture was lovely, nice heavy old style pieces. Warm and welcoming. The room service I had was spectacular, the food was good quality, delicious and abundant. Breakfast was a disappointment, not much variety and I ordered scrambled...

This motel has only the typical view of the parking lot from standard, well equipped rooms, but is within easy walking distance of a nearby shopping center for cafes, restaurants and groceries. Staff at the front desk were very pleasant and guest laundry is clean and free!

Stayed here as part of a bird watching tour, would not have come otherwise. Simple, drab, comfortable room. Car parking outside each room. Charged for wifi - how dated! No restaurant service on Sundays. Bed comfortable. Not a lot to get excited about but serviceable if you need to be here.
