We would highly recommend this relaxing setting to anyone! Bob and Keishya were so welcoming. They were also awesome tour guides who were willing to get soaked to give us a few more minutes by Monkey Island :) The trip was so much fun and we got some great pics! Anyone looking for a unique experience should consider staying at...

We found Barefoot Travelers because we were searching for a place to stay near the Humacao Nature Reserve, where we planned to kayak. Barefoot Travelers is very near the Nature Reserve. It also appealed to us because it's not a hotel, but rather the home of Bob & Keishya and their four friendly dogs. It is like a Bed &...

We found this spot online at the last minute looking for somewhere to stay close to the south side of El Yunque. After later visiting the more popular north entrance (lots of tourists) to the park, the south side(we saw 3 people all day) is definitely the place to go if you're into some intense hiking and climbing up waterfalls....

My boyfriend and I stayed here for four nights during a recent 10 day trip to Puerto Rico. Bob and Keisha took such great care of us! They provided suggestions on what sights to see, where to get groceries, and even advice on what the weather might be doing later in the day. The guesthouse itself is very spacious and...

Travel with two youngish children can present its challenges, which is why we chose to stay at Barefoot Travelers. I liked the idea of our girls having their own room and my husband and I having a room to ourselves as well. I knew they would love that there was a pool and beach nearby. We really lucked out in...

We didn't stay at the Barefoot traveler although after reading the reviews and meeting Bob and Keisha I wish we did. We originally reserved a big catamaran to do a day trip to Monkey Island for some snorkeling and sightseeing. The morning of our trip the captain of the cat decided to change the minimum number of people he'd take...

I’m just going to throw my two cents upon the pile of (well deserved) glowing reviews for Bob, Keisha and Barefoot Travelers. I recently stayed there for a week with a couple buddies of mine, looking for some adventure in Puerto Rico. The published guide books can only take you so far. If you really want to get off the...

The reviews you read here are on-target. Our family (2 adults, 2 teens) enjoyed 3 days of Bob & Keishya's hospitality. Beautiful, clean, comfortable home; lovely pool; a block's walk from a quite beach & reserve that feels like it's yours alone. Take advantage of the opportunity to kayak to Monkey Island. Best of all, you will feel welcomed as...

So, I stayed in Barefoot Travelor in February 2011 with three of my cousins, all of us in our late 20s. I decided to stay there because I read excellent reviews on Trip Advisor; and from the reviews it seemed like a place not to pass up on a week-long trip! Briefly, my overall review of this place is not...

“Master Maroon has private en-suite bath. The other two rooms (full and queen) share a bath outside their door.”

“The guesthouse is the entire first floor of their home. One master bedroom with a private bath and two single bedrooms with a shared bathroom. All the rooms are comfy, just depends how much privacy you want. It really feels just like you're staying over a friend's place. Warning! Beds are VERY firm. However, I typically sleep on a soft mattress but slept really well regardless.”
