Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

First of all, if you are kiteboarding, the cottages are a 5 minute drive from one of the best kite spots in eastern Canada - Kite Point on Princetown Road.

The cottages are very well equipped for kitchen utensils and they start you off with soap, salt, pepper, paper towels, etc. A nice touch when there is not a store nearby. The owners go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. I have been here two years now for 10 days in September. It is very quiet this time of year. They are individual cottages so you don’t hear your neighbours.

I can also add that if you are a road cyclist, there are many scenic quiet routes to ride right from your cottage.

Most of their guests are returning customers which says a lot.

The Malpeque Cove Cottages are clean and cozy! A 3 minute drive to the Cabot Cove Beach, the water is warm and has Life Guards. Our Hosts have been accommodating and down to earth.
Looking forward to next year!

Love the area and how close it is to everything, without being busy. Fire pit, green space and a small jungle gym allowed for lots of family activities and fun. This was our second time staying, and we're booked to go again next year.

The most amazing sunsets made for great winding down moments as well!

We stayed here with extended family members for two weeks in August. The cottages were clean and comfortable. They were fully equipped with everything that you would need. The owners were friendly and accommodating. There was lots of room for the children to run and play. We had campfires in the evenings. It is a great location with several beaches nearby and shopping available in nearby Kensington. Overall a great holiday. Bill Hatcher

We stayed here for 2 weeks in August sharing the cottage with our 2 children and grandparents and had a great time. The cottages were clean and well maintained. Nothing fancy, but comfortable. The owners were always polite, friendly and accommodating, even going so far as to check with me before mowing the lawn in case the baby was sleeping. Location is good, close enough to Kensington and great local restaurants and beaches.

This is our 4th year here and our last. Owner was an [...] that bothered us almost every day for a week. I brought 4 more parties for 3 nights as well. Dont park on the grass and dont bring babies and not tell him. Dont use laundry before 9. All details that should have been ignored. Other than him the loc is good, good beach 10 min away, seafood market 5 min. But next time w'el take our $2000 else where. You would never know tourism is down in PEI the way he acted.

We had none of the problems mentioned in previous negative reviews. The cottage is perfectly situated near the excellent Cabot Beach with an authentic oyster restaurant nearby. The owner made sure our cottage was clean and treated us like hotel guests removing garbage daily and replacing towels. The kids loved the playground and the open space to run around in. There were laundry facilities which were useful. We got great value and the owner was flexible in terms of arrival, departure and days. I am glad that we stayed at these cottages and got solid value. Maybe the owner has turned a new leaf since previous reviews.

Our cottage was clean and comfortable and well equipped. We also had a nice view of Malpeque Cove from our deck. There are two fire pits with chairs for the cottages to share. A great way to meet new people. Cabot Park is less than five minutes away and has a lovely beach. The owner is friendly and accommodating. We'd go back again!
