Dont be fooled by the picture, the hotel looks nothing like this when you arrive its very deceiving. Notwithstanding we enjoyed our stay here, the rooms are very basic but clean and spacious with nice and newly refurbished toilets. The beds were very comfy and we had a really good nights sleep. The restaurant was nice we didn't have food but sat at the bar for a drink. The staff were working hard but still friendly and attentive although we would have liked out table to be cleared before we sat down at it. Breakfast was lovely and well organised with good covid restrictions in place. Overall it was a nice stay but not the best hotel. The cafe across the road was lovely too.

Dear Guest, Thank you for your review, I am sorry that you feel that we were deceiving you with the hotel pictures however the garden across the quiet road does actually belong to the hotel. We grow some of our own plants and there is also a putting green on one side for which we provide clubs and balls for our guests to enjoy. Our gardener does a fantastic job and we are lucky to have such a great space to relax in. I am glad that you enjoyed the hotel during your stay with us. I would like to make a point that all our tables and chairs need to be thoroughly cleaned other guests arrive and we ask guests not to seat themselves at unsanitised tables. I wish you all the best and I hope to welcome you back to the hotel in the near future. Kind regards, Eva Secker General Manager

Stayed here for one night in September 2020. While i was hesitant to give a poor review, the hotel seems busy enough and with the prices for a room they need to be aware of the faults. Its a massive lovely looking building on the outside. Inside its ageing badly. A lot of the floors have holes or loose boards under the carpets. Several times i lost my balance when my foot dropped through the floor. The place smells musty. My radiator was not working, i did report it and was asked if i told the night porter. However it was 3am when the night turned chilly , i wasnt getting a porter to my room to fix a radiator at that time. The shower pressure was very low, a slow dribble. The carpet in my room had flakes of paint all over it. The room itself was basic but cleanish. The

Dear Guest, Thank you for your review, our hotel is a Victorian country hotel, and is an old building but we do have a refurbishment programme on going, with more rooms and some public areas started in the new year. We air the hotel every day, with it being over 120 years old there may be a smell associated with its age. The receptionist was asking if you had spoken to the night porter as he would have been able to bring an electric radiator to ensure your comfort. Our staff work hard during this challenging Covid-19 time to provide guest satisfaction and ensure excellent service. Booking directly with the hotel guarantees the best value, and I can recommend looking on our website to see the current offers available which are not always available on third party booking websites. I wish you all the best and I hope to welcome you again soon. Kindest regards, Eva Secker General Manager

We are just home after spending our wedding weekend at the Nethy-Bridge Hotel. With the current pandemic that we are all facing, it did not even come close to appearing that it would stop these guys from pulling the whole weekend off for us. We had the most brilliant time, staff were fantastic and attentive to all of our guests there for our special day. The cleanliness of the rooms booked for those staying with us we’re all to a high standard and the food over the 3 days was also, just great! We can’t thank you all enough, cheers to all the staff and especially Eva and Lindsay! X

Absolutely delighted at the level of service given by all staff at the hotel. They truly saved the day, organising and arranging a very intimate wedding within 24 hours of being notified, after we were severely let down by another hotel group, 1/2 hour before we were due to arrive. The arrangements and set up were amazing. The meal was delicious and everyone was looked after and were able to enjoy the special day. All within the Government guidelines. The day was extremely special and no-one could fault a thing. We utilised the gardens and a majority of the areas of the hotel, again this was all done in an organised and smooth manner. Thank you for your help and assistance, professionalism and attention to detail, showing empathy and compassion and ensuring that this
