Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A lovely home, off the beaten path but with a sat-nav no problem finding (the directions on the website are a little vague). Our room was very clean, comfortable and with all the amenities. There were 3 of us in the family room which suited us perfectly as the 2 joined rooms provided plenty of privacy. Breakfast was delicious - fresh and made to order - a great way to start the day. Trish was very nice, very helpful. Nethy Bridge is a good location with lots of great restaurants in the area - just be sure to make a reservation though! We'll definitely stay here again next time we're up here.

We stayed for one night before heading off up into the hills. Trish made us very welcome and we really appreciated the tea and cake on arrival. Our room was large and comfortable. Breakfast was a treat but we didn't really have time to linger so will have to go back again to sample everything properly!

We arrived at Nethy Bridge at midday for a wedding and we were very lucky to have chosen to saty at Balciuin. Trish welcomed us into the house giving us refreshments and access to our rooms to shower and change. She then very kindly ran us down to the church in time for the ceremony. Arriving back late was no problem as we had our own keys and the following morning we were able to have a late bountiful breakfast. We sat in the sunroom looking out at the beautiful forest and Cairngorm mountains.
We hope to return again soon.

The Balciuin B&B in Netty Bridge, is a nice and cosy B&B, very affordable, nice rooms and a good breakfast served by an excellent landlady/owner, with beautiful surroundings and wild roe deer insight from the dining room, very picturesque! It is well worth a stay!

My husband and I enjoyed a night in Nethy Bridge at the beginning of our trip to Scotland. Trish was a very accommodating host with lots of suggestions to offer in way of activities and local dinner fare. We stayed in the en suite room with two twin beds. View from our window was fantastic. Would love to return and spend a few days exploring Speyside in a little more depth.

Had an excellent two night stay here. We were two couples and we shared the family room/suite. It was two joined bedrooms with a shared bathroom and suited us perfectly. The facilities were excellent and the breakfasts superb. You won't be disappointed.

Had a great three nights at the Balciuin B&B (I have no idea how it is pronounced). Beds very comfy and room really clean, and the Hostess, Trish, is very welcoming and friendly. Well worth the cost which was very reasonable. When we arrived Trish made my wife and I a tea and coffee and gave us some biscuits to go with the refreshments. Nethy Bridge is a great place for walking and the Balciuin is a great Base. My one and only gripe was the fact that you had to order breakfast the night before but it's a minor gripe and certainly will not stop me from returning if I am up this way and it shouldn't stop you either. While it's predominantly a B&B Trish will cater for packed lunches (and dinners with notice) at a very good rate. As I was on a walking weekend I took advantage of the packed lunch and it was very good - I'd say it was better than the local Hotels' packed lunch :-)

This was one of the best places we stayed. Trish, the owner, is so nice and she makes the best breakfast ever! It's in a very calm area, surrounded by nature. Everything was impeccably clean and cozy.

It was a delight to have spent 3 nights with Trish at Balciuin whilst attending the Abernethy Highland Games. We had a lovely double room with ensuite on the ground floor. The breakfast selection was excellent and as all the guests ate around a large table there was plenty of interaction which we really enjoyed. Trish is a wonderful host, always willing to help and offer advise when needed.
