I travel round the country and this B&B is by far the best of any i've stayed in. The food was outstanding, all three courses were perfect. The host's were so friendly and welcoming it felt like i was at home... but with better service. I would visit again without hesitation and would recomend it to work collegues and friends...

We stayed three nights in this beautiful house which was definitely too short. At arrival -even if we had been delayed - we have been wellcomed with a fanastic dinner and an excellent bottle of wine by Ed and Nel (the brilliant cook). After taking three flights to Inverness and travelling for about 22 hours, Kiltearn House was a fine respite. It is about 25 easy miles from Inverness airport. The location is beautiful. I have just returned from my third visit to this delightful hotel. The owners Nel and Ed could not have made us more welcome. As always Nels’ cooking was wonderful. Will definitely stay again.

Owners Ed & Nell have clearly been working hard over the year. Same great welcome, facilities and location bit they have upped their game with the cooking. We enjoyed a varied and tasty meal every night and superb breakfasts. As a base for touring further north it is the perfect spot.

We didn't see too much of the owners apart from a quick hello at breakfast as we were making the most of our time driving...

I was working in the area and the room was booked through the Inverness Tourist Information Office at the last minute. So when I arrived at Kiltern House, I was pleasently surprised. I was warmly welcomed and met on first name terms by the owner Ed who escorted me to my room and showed me the house. The bedroom I...
