Booked by company at very short notice. Single room with no double glazing twenty yards from a main road meant a very restless night. Mouldiest shower ever encountered anywhere meant a grubby start to the next morning as I was certainly not risking it. Avoid at all costs.

Not super posh or chic but has everything you need, warm, nice open fire at breakfast, and very lovely staff. Newspapers laid on, breakfast choices are fine. Lost my glasses twice around the hotel and staff reunited me with them. Also the WiFi is accessible with no faffing.

Comfy bed. Warm room. Lashings of hot water. Good breakfast. What more do you need. Wierd window though, one of those roof type thing is. It worked though. Function on Saturday night which could be heard but music stopped around 11ish, maybe midnight. I didn't notice it after I settled down to sleep. Staff very polite and good service. Hotel...

I had originally planned to stay at the Kintore Arms with a friend, but last minute my girlfriend was invited (I got a last minute plus one to a wedding). Our room didn't have a window you could look out of. Instead, the room was very tall and had a velux to let light in. There were controls to open...

The staff at this hotel were excellent. The hotel was rather tired. The first room we were shown was awful. It was dark and the shower room was tiny and all black mildew I would not have used it. However the girl on the reception was excellent and we were shown another room although it was a family room and...

When we arrived it was rather late in fairness. The lady on the desk was lovely even though her shift had finished. We were exhausted and needed to put our heads down. When we got to our room. It was like going into a large cupboard I was confused as I could not see a window until I looked up....

Stayed 2 nights in hotel. Room clean but very dated and in need of updating. We were at very back/side of the hotel room 3, through dark red narrow corridors and doors. Very small shower room, with no pressure from shower and high step out of shower, which both myself and husband almost fell from. Cleaning cupboard also right outside our...

I've been here a few times for Christmas parties, baby showers and other events. The outside looks grand, not so much inside. The reception looks more like a bar and has never been manned the many times I have been there. The room to the left is ok, but unused, the larger function room which they hold the christmas parties...

We chose the restaurant in the Kintore Arms Hotel for dinner after asking for suggestions from the local librarian. The prices were quite reasonable, and my dinner was fabulous. I chose the chicken with a whiskey sauce, mashed potatoes and seasonal veggies. (Fabulous!) My husband chose the hamburger which he enjoyed as well. The place was very quiet when we...
