Lovely stay- we would definitely stay again. Ideal location for all the towns amenities. Good parking and facilities. Great night sleep on a good quality mattress. Hotel spotlessly clean. Hospitality a bit hit and miss. Young chap on reception on Friday super helpful. Bar and reception staff very formal- no chit chat or pleasantries. Breakfast was a disappointment…... no explanation about what we had to do for breakfast on Saturday- we only knew it was a buffet because we saw what everyone else was doing. Only pre cooked scrambled eggs available although the room information offered poached and fried. Sundays breakfast host however was much more helpful and welcoming. Hot plates also required for buffet style food
Stayed for a few days friendly staff clean rooms made our room over without us even asking. Filling breakfast would stay there again, it was only a ten minute walk to the high town or use the finicular railway,to the top of the hill. Close to the Severn vale railway our reason for visiting the area.
This is my second visit to this hotel and the staff were welcoming and warm again! This time we stayed in room one with the four poster bed, it had much more room compared to our previous stay, and was again clean and well laid out! Breakfast basic but tasty! I will defo return again in the future. Keep up the good work parlors hall.
We stayed at the hotel as a family of 6 with our dog and it was absolutely wonderful. We were a little unsure due to the nature of the building and décor but we were not disappointed, the building was absolutely stunning and the décor complemented it beautifully! We had a fantastic welcome from Caroline, and nothing was too much trouble. Check in was smooth and as we had arrived early, the rooms were ready and we were able to settle in. The rooms were super, light and airy and the complementary toiletries were a lovely touch. The beds were super comfy and the rooms were spotless. The rooms also have plates and cutlery in case you decide on a takeaway, brilliant idea! The bar was welcoming and homely and we particularly enjoyed the impromptu rendition on the piano and spoons! We loved our stay and have booked again for October. Thank you to Caroline and all of the staff at the Parlors Hall Hotel, keep up the good work!…
Just got back from a wonderful nights stay at the Parlors Hall Hotel and I can honestly say I was impressed from start to finish. I went with an open mind knowing it was a historic building and that there would be quirks and lots of character and I wasn’t disappointed. As soon as I walked into the reception I was welcome with two glorious hellos from the front of house staff, they were so lovely, and was guided to where to park (free too). The checking in service was very professional, helpful, very informative and super friendly, I knew it was going to be a lovely weekend here. The service in the evening for late night drinks was excellent, lovely lady and I loved the drinks were all served in beautiful cut glass which was such a fabulous touch. Our room was absolutely perfect for me as it was so light and bright with opening windows which is important to myself. (Personal choice as I don’t like dark rooms and I must have ventilation) There were toiletries, box of tissues, tea and coffee making facilities and lovely biscuits. There is a hair dryer and plenty of storage and good quality coat hangers. There was a TV although I didn’t use it. They even provide plates and cutlery in your room for you to use if you bring back a takeaway of some sort which I thought was a great idea and very nice of them to offer this, great idea. The decor is pretty and what I would expect to see in a characterful hotel of this type and was spotlessly clean and the bed was super comfy too. The bathroom was modern and exceptionally clean which had an over the bath shower. The break fast is served until 09:30 and provided a lovely selection of cereals, fruit, toasts and hot full English offerings. The sausages were lovely (and I am very choosy with sausages so don’t say this lightly - thank you) I would definitely stay again for when I next visit Bridgnorth over night. It is great value for money and all the friendly staff from front to back of house, and the service and cleanliness are what really make this the ideal choice to stay. Thank you to you all at the Parlors Hall for a wonderful weekend, well done!…
Had the most amazing stay at this hotel, not only was me and my children made to feel so welcome they went above and beyond to make our stay as enjoyable as as it was. The most comfy bed iv ever slept In and the exceptional bar man who made us feel so welcome and happy we was sad to leave. Will be going back asap due to this most enjoyable experience.
Stayed here for one night! Central location with all amenities near! The hotel is a little dated but ever so cosy and with a really welcoming feeling. The staff are very friendly and attentive. Breakfast had all the basics and was tasty, the lady serving was really friendly and informative! We will definitely be returning in the future! Thank you for a fantastic stay!!!
I have stayed twice and just got back. It’s a lovely cosy hotel and staff are very friendly especially Scott who was amazing. The bar is so cosy in the evening and the chestnut chairs are so comfy. Breakfast was lovely. Great location as well. Highly recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Just com back from a three day stay , hotel was quaint and very clean, the staff were great really helpful and friendly, breakfast was a buffet just help yourself , the hotel was very central to everything you wanted, the only downside was the room very small and only a bath no shower and a bit antiquated.
Just returned from a short break at the Parlors Hall Hotel Bridgnorth, and we had a wonderful time ,upon our arrival we were welcomed on our arrival the hotel was very olde world but spotless and the staff were very friendly and helpful , we had our 5 month old puppy with us and he was spoilt by everyone .The location is perfect for getting around Bridgnorth there is and M&S food store and CO OP almost opposite along (no evening meals were being served ) with a chip shop ,chinese take away and just around the corner a pizza and burger outlet (Tastys) 5 minute walk along Mill st is the Bandon arms a great pub for food and drink .the Cliff railway is 5 minutes walk away over the river bridge . The bedroom was very clean and comfortable although the bathroom was a little snug but very pleasant all the same . the English cooked breakfast was very tasty and set you up for the day .There is a great enclosed garden to sit in throughout the day or evening I would definitely stay again…
