Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

An excellent guest house, our first stay but certainly not the last. Room was well equipped with a comfortable bed and extremely clean. Breakfast was excellent and staff happily go out of their way to be helpful. We happily recommend The Croft

our 1st visit to the croft , and well impressed throughout our 2 day stay. warm , clean , tidy , friendly owners. room was very presentable , with shower , tv , good bed. breakfast , whist not the largest helping , (could be me), was pre ordered the night before , what you want , how you want it. having stayed in most b+b across bridgnorth , this one being the best yet , with a 4star rating. whist not being the cheapest , you get what you pay for. will return there

My wife and I enjoyed our 2 day stay. We had a room at the front which was spotless and comfortable. We did not experience any street noise which was mentioned in a previous review. Breakfast is ordered the night before by completing a simple form with all the options and choosing your preferred time. It offers a varied selection of dishes with endless toast and homemade jams as accompaniment. The b&b is very secure with access controlled by using the room key fob. We also had a safe in our room although we found no need for it. There is plenty of local information on hand and Paul gave us tips to take advantage of cheaper rate parking available within a few minutes walk. Perfect few days away.

We recently spent 2 nights at The Croft and loved it. The owners were so friendly and welcoming; they really cared that our stay was as comfortable and pleasant as possible. Our room was the quirky attic one which had a nice atmosphere and the beds were really comfy. Breakfast was served with a lovely smile and we were made to feel very relaxed. I had requested gluten free cereal and bread which was no problem - a big change from some larger 'chain' hotels. We recommend you try The Croft if you want comfortable, pleasant, welcoming surroundings and want to be as close as possible to the High Street in High Town, Bridgnorth. We loved it and will be returning.

Stayed in The Saltbox - cottage owned by The Croft owners only because the B&B was full on one of our 3 requested nights. Great location, the cottage was clean, comfortable, quirky & well equipped. A great find and faultless from our perspective ! Not a criticism but maybe not so suitable for those who struggle with stairs. Spacious parking available less than 10 mins away at £3 per day. Saltbox is located on The Cartway - a narrow one way sloping street although quick drop/pick up is entirely feasible if required. Excellent breakfast offered at main B&B for just £5 extra by arrangement - only a 5 minute walk and something we took advantage of one morning. Communication was friendly and efficient throughout. We had a great stay in Bridgnorth - thanks to Jeanette and Paul for accommodating us.

Just stayed at The Croft for 1 night. It's centrally located in Bridgenorth on a quiet side road. The hotel is stunning with lots of character and original features. We had room 5. Very comfortable and furnished to a very high standard. Felt very luxurious. Breakfast ordered to your own choice and again like everything at The Croft it was first class. The hosts are a lovely couple who go out of their way to ensure that you have a great stay. Highly recommended and we will be back. Thank you.

Lovely overnight stay on Sunday, in the family room. The owners are brilliant and make you feel very welcome, and are very accommodating. The rooms are clean and tidy and well looked after. The communal lounge area was a nice setting for my sister in law's mini birthday celebration. Breakfast was tasty (full English) with friendly service staff. Thanks for a lovely stay.
