I stayed here with my two children, the property was gorgeous with a peaceful backdrop and a taste of luxury , yes the motorway is nearby but there was no noise disturbance and easy for access. Local restaurant the Longlands served beautiful food with a choice of dinner restaurant or bar area to dine in we would highly recommend. This...

Stayed for the week 19th Sep 2016 and as usual everything was perfect from start to finish including the weather which was a real bonus. We keep coming back because we like our home comforts and the close proximity to the Lake District, this is also an ideal location for the dogs with picturesque walks along the Lancaster Canal. Will...

Beautiful views across the marina, cute "chill out balcony" with table & chairs which allowed us to take full advantage of some good weather. We watched several amusing groups of ducks going about their daily business, strutting their stuff on the "boardwalk" Our Cottage was spotlessly clean & provided everything we needed. Good location fro exploring the Lakes, surrounding villages...

A great self catering apartment, with beautiful views over the marina, towards lovely countryside. The convenience to the motorway and good roads, though, opened up the whole of the Lakes and Dales to be within easy driving distance, but for a change you could go shopping in Lancaster or Kendal, or visit the seaside in Morecambe. I would have given...

Rooms very good. Great location as a base for the Lakes and the Dales. Clean and friendly staff. Bit of a whiff of dogs in the rooms , but cant complain as it is clearly advertised as a dog friendly hotel. Great for self catering

My wife and l chose this location for a weeks break, simply to allow us to seriously chill out. After arriving on the Saturday I was taken seriously ill on Sunday night. This was no reflection on the marina whatsoever. The staff where excellent and could not have done any more to help us. Nothing was too much trouble. There...

We loved this place! The location is great, easy to find and easy to get to plenty of great places nearby - you can be in the heart of the Lake District or the Yorkshire Dales within half an hours drive or so, we also visited Morecambe and Lancaster while we were staying here. The accommodation is really comfortable and...

We stayed at the Tewitfield Marina apartments for a night whilst visiting family. The Marina is in an excellent location just off (but not in view of) the M6. There is a lovely pub next door that serves great food. The menu is quite good. We only had the pizzas but they were all hand made and really tasty. 2...

We stayed in 10 Mallard which looks like it was on of the better positioned cottages, it had an upstairs balcony which we made good use of. Three bedrooms all spotless, all soft furnishings and furniture nice and clean. easy to find just of M6 no problem with noise from traffic during the day and not too bad at night...
