we visited yesterday evening for a get together with my sister and her husband. 2 choices of menu both of which I could have chosen from . Service was friendly and efficient food was of a very good standard and it would be hard to beat for value for money. We will definitely visit again.

We stayed one night B&B at the Broadoak as we were in town for our friends engagement party. Check in was easy and the room was very nice. Comfortable bed, clean bathroom, nice towels, tea/coffee and mini toiletries etc. Everything you'd expect. Rooms are above the bar & restaurant areas and the hotel does 'theme' nights but since we were...

Came here for first time to eat since new owner taken over, and I can say that the food has improved. All our food was well presented, and was of a decent quality. My wife and son have also been for light lunch and commented on the increase in quality. Will definitely come back for food so long as it...

Booked for my Husband's 50th birthday, meal was lovely and hot. We all had a very enjoyable evening. The small oak room was set up perfect. Would recommend for anyone wanting to book a similar party. Thanks to Neil and all the staff who looked after us throughout the night.

The reception was fine and overall, as you would expect from a pub come hotel the bar area and service is very good. I prefer to have a change of scenery in the evening to local bars or restaurants and location is not great. The room was spacious and the bed fairly comfy, a few areas need looking at. The...

Partner came with me on a work trip to Manchester so we looked for something more interesting than the usual chain hotels. Greeted by the very friendly and attentive manager, we checked in and booked a table in the restaurant before relaxing in our room. A much higher standard than the usual B&B's, the bed was very comfortable and there...
