Lovely owners, breakfast was great. Unforuantley the room wasnt very clean and had an overpowering smell of chip fat and stale smoke. Great location though, and easy to come and go as you needed. Walls were paper thin and you could hear everything from the near by rooms.

Nice friendly welcome. Hotel is a bit dated but we were only here for 1 night so weren't bothered in the slightest. I could smell smoke as soon as we walked into the reception, even though there are no smoking signs everywhere. Our room was basic but clean. Bed was ok but the pillows were a bit hard. The breakfast...

The good points- very friendly owners. Parking at rear. Close to town. Quiet location The bad points- Extremely dated. Very noisy the walls are paper thin and you can hear everything and I mean EVERYTHING. Had the en suite room but the shared bathroom was next door and might as well have been in there with them. The bed sheets...

One night stay. Room basic but clean. Very reasonable but you get what you pay for so don't expect the Ritz. Friendly welcome. Rear large car park is handy. Breakfast very nice, hot and plentiful. Really nice chip shop at top of street but not a lot for eating options other than that without driving.

Hotel is basic and met our needs as we were visiting an elderly relative in Rayleigh. Situated quite a distance from main road on a housing estate in a quiet area. Room had basic facilities and bed was reasonably comfy. Very hot humid weather did not help as there was no fan or air conditioning. Shower was difficult to control...

The hotel is clean comfortable and reasonably priced. It is an ideal location for a short stay and convenient for the town centre and shops. En-suite room was a good size with sufficient wardrobe space for our stay of one night and also equipped with tea & coffee making facilities. Breakfast is highly recommended and the hosts were very friendly...

Clean and comfortable with a decent cooked breakfast in the morning (I'm fussy and ordered veggi sausages & poached eggs with wholemeal bread)! Well worth £35 a night, my single room was actually a double, I was so pleased :) The hotel is a bit dated and could do with a refurb but still very clean and serviceable. The couple...

We stayed here for a long weekend in July 2016, the rooms are very good with everything you need, they are basic like you get at Travelodge and those sort of places. What makes this hotel better is the Hosts, they are a nice couple with the attitude that nothing is to hard for them to do, we had a...
