I stayed at this hotel during April as I was walking the South West Coast Path. I chose the hotel for convenience as it had a restaurant, however, when I asked about the opening time of the restaurant I was told that it only opened at weekends - this was not stated on its website. I took a wander around...

I got the distinct impression that the owners felt that, as they had an excellent location, they did't need to bother with anything else. I was there to attend my nephew's wedding at a local venue so I only experienced the breakfast which was well below par. the bread, from which the toast was made, and the orange juice were...

Last stayed here back in 2011 as we had a wedding in the area. Young owner/manager (Ben or Dan??) running the place, food was great and felt very welcome, i remember commenting to my family at the wedding how enjoyable our stay was. Bathrooms a little tired but the service and food was faultless. Infact it rivalled some of the...

If you are thinking of staying here...DONT. Two night stay. Room not serviced between nights. No restaurant open. Breakfast from 8.30 onwards so never got any.Hotel empty apart from me - and I mean me. No staff at night and front door left open. Trying to check out was an art in itself. A responsible adult is required to be...

We had our wedding here on valentines day and it was amazing the staff can not do enough.. It was like we had the whole hotel to ourselves.. Jake was not only serving but he played the guitar and sang to the wedding party. The food was very tasty and everyone enjoyed their meal. We will defiantly come back again....

A huge great THUMBS UP to the nice people at the Cawsand Bay Hotel https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100002061097560 who stepped up to the plate and saved Elyse's party today. While I was entertaining the children at the hotels Christmas party, the Elyse's dad (Elyse's Birthday Party was my next gig), called the hotel to say he couldn't get into the village hall in...

What a fantastic location but everything else is a complete disaster. On arrival, rather than being greeted properly we had to make ourselves known to the two youths messing about in the kitchen upstairs. A young girl then appeared for whom it was obviously a great inconvenience to have customers to deal with. The rooms were pretty poor and should...

My husband and I went to the restaurant for an evening meal, and it was superb. The staff were very friendly & polite, the decor was lovely & contributed to the wonderful atmosphere, and the food was excellent. I ordered the Butternut Squash & Wild Mushroom Risotto. It was beautifully presented, and a generous portion size. It tasted fantastic, and...

Cawsand Bay hotel has an amazing location -right on the beach . The views are spectacular and varied. However although the furnishings seemed recent and the bed was OK the rest of the room was very tired carpets dirty and shower a relic of the 1970's . Dinner was a disappointment with steak ( a special) so burnt as to...
