The room was very acceptable except the beds were basic and quite hard. The pillows were of poor quality . We had a view , but unfortunately it was of the desalination plant opposite. Air- Con very good . Safe in room free and worked well Breakfast was extremely poor and bland . No fresh fruit the first three days - only tinned . Then only melon and banana , next day kiwi !! A treat !! Considering the area we are in we found that hard to understand. No omelettes just fried eggs. One day actually started cooking my own as the chef was no where to be seen . Pre cooked scrambled eggs - there for the whole service . Bacon and sausages swimming in grease . Hard boiled also available. A selection of of sliced bread , no rolls etc . I think you get the picture. Coffee machines were good . Selection of various coffees , hot water and milk. When we got here the hotel was extremely busy. Wedding on the Saturday. Outside area /pool was cordoned off to “hotel guests” On the Sunday still busy , again “outsiders” came in for a child’s confirmation and pool party , so wasn’t again available for residents . My biggest disappointment was how ever after using the outside pool for nearly 4 days , I was told it was closed until July !! It was cordoned off . I complained and was told the pool had been closed all the time , they had no knowledge of the other use and if I wish to use it “that was my responsibility “ . we had to use towels from the room The Spa was “free” and part of the deal and I have to say was the highlight of the stay. Although the other reviews were spot on it’s in no doubt in decline . The area is rusty , the walls plaster and paint coming off . Being salt water and hot it needs constant maintenance I guess - clearly still not getting it . After Monday the hotel was extremely quite. The staff focus on service is non existent- no eye contact always looking at computer screens and no care or answers to enquiries. We didn’t eat in the hotel - not sure anything was available to be honest. There was no bar person except if you pressed a bell . The Hotel is situated as well we knew , right on the outskirts of town , but there are a few places to eat out locally ( rose Indian restaurant) the very best . There is also a “petrol station “ across the road that serves good food , beer and coffee . I know doesn’t sound great but worth a pit stop ( very nice people) . The walk into town is a brisk 20 minutes. As with many Hotels it could be great with the nature environment and beauty but it seems that there is no will and desire to be so .The management have lost their focus. I would come back to the area , but certainly wouldn’t come back to this tired, uninspiring place and quite frankly I’m not sure they cared if I did or not .

Hotel's Favourite
I arrived quite late in the evening for a one night stay on our way back to Portugal, but was pleasantly surprised by this Hotel, so much so I actually paid for a late check out. The salt pools (free entrance) were amazing, and not crowded at all (early September). Spent a couple of hours there. Nice family room with balcony, modern and clean. Breakfast was good. Did not try lunch because I am trying to avoid buffets and meals at indoor places. Did eat a very nice meal nearby. Pricewise, great value for 3 persons even considering the late checkout. Missed the beaches, but did visit the Salt fields and watched the flamingos. Would definitely return to the area. Very clean, all recommendations were followed, so felt perfectly safe.

Called at the hotel one week before to ask to book for Wednesday of following week was told if it was a lunch spa had to be Monday. Bought spa and lunch as a birthday treat for my friend . Arrived to be told no lunches available we could use spa and come back in the evening for a meal. Not a very satisfactory offer so we declined . Was only offered a refund on the difference after requesting it . Was handed a robe and hat to use as compensation for a ruined birthday treat. No use to us as we had brought our own as we were asked to do so at booking . Still waiting for my refund Don't bother not a treat at all .Staff were not a bit concerned .

There is a shortage of hotels in San Pedro Del Pinatar, hence shortage of choice. Overall the experience was good but not a 4 star. The staff at the reception were not the most hospitable, they were at times dismissive, did not smile and it seemed that they were there because they had no choice. The food was less than to be desired at breakfast. The dinner menu was average. What was surprising was that I burnt my arm on the toaster in the dining area. I asked reception whether they had a first aid box and were told a blunt "No". the receptionist did not ask how it happened or how they could help. There is no kettle in the rooms or any facility to have a cup of tea or coffee, but there is a small fridge which is temperamental. The beds are excellent and the cleaning everyday is excellent. The television programmes are predominantly in English save a few channels that are news channels in English (not an issue). The location is excellent. We did enjoy the spa which made up for the other bits.

No room service, “Not allowed due to Covid” they said. No room phone for two days. “Sim is updating” they said. Late dinner. Try to keep kids awake and hungry up until 20:30. A bad choice if you have kids NOT A FAMILY PLACE, definitely NOT FOUR STARS. WATCH OUT.

Booked a session in the spa, with massage and buffet lunch for my son and his girlfriend. Thought I’d booked 4:30-8:30 but had made a mistake on the booking and booked 11-2 instead. We arrived promptly at 4:30 to be met by an outrageously rude, lady and aggressive receptionist. I explained that I did not have my phone and asked that she look up our booking on the system. She refused, told me it was to difficult and that I would need to do the 45 min round trip to get my phone as it was too difficult for her to find. I spent 10 mins trying to log into my account on my sons phone but due to 2 step authentication just couldn’t do it. I approached her again and asked if she could look us up on the system. Was shouted at aggressively and told again the it was way to hard and we would have to wait until she had signed in everyone else in as we would cause a huge delay. Once everyone was signed in we approached her again. Grumpy, sulky, rude… only begins to describe her attitude. It took her 15-30 seconds to find or booking (so much for being hard and having to do a 45 minute round trip to get my phone). Not even a hint of embarrassment that she had made such a fuss or been so rude and aggressive towards me. Then we realised I had actually booked the morning session and not the afternoon. I requested that she at least let them in for a 13 euro pool session (had paid 64 per person). “No, you have lost everything! Hi oh made the mistake!!” After several minutes she conceded and made an “exception” and let them in. For a business that wants to attract customers for a relaxed chilled out experience, this was a complete joke. We were humiliated in front of other customers, made to feel stupid, growled at, shouted without a single piece of empathy that the chilled out spa experience we booked had just gone up in smoke. We have been before and the service has been poor but this was another level. We have a property in the area for the last 15 years so are fully aware that customer service is different but this was way out of line. Go there but don’t expect a high quality customer experience. Expect utilitarian, third grade service.

We didn't stay at the hotel but went for the spa and pools! We have been several times in the past (pre covid) and found it to be a good value experience particularly the €32 spa and buffet. We are aware that the water used is from the sea as such expect it to be a little salty. However now it seems they have cut back on the filtration etc after 30 minutes it was unbearable you could actually see a cloud of salt over the pools, our eyes were stinging and mouths dry because of the excessive salt. I CANNOT RECOMMEND THE SPA. On the plus side the staff spoke exceptional English and were extremely helpful, its sad to see the spa and pools in decline.

Booked a double room but was given 2 singles. Balcony and view were lovely. Small bathroom but beds seem comfy enough. Not much information given on anything. No information on where breakfast is and what time, nothing about where the spa is and what you'll need to enter. You have to wear flip-flops and a swimming cap which is not communicated when booking the spa or when you check in at reception. Maybe this place is better in the summer as there's an outdoor pool. It would however get very busy as it is already busy in March. This will most definitely not help the level of customer service you receive. An okay hotel but will not be recommending or booking here again.

Check in was busy, but it is August friendly staff and a nice room. The spa area is nice if a bit busy, Good restaurant with a quality selection of food and drinks. Nice well kept outside areas and outdoor pool. Well organised in regard to Covid safety precautions without spoiling your stay. I have marked it down due to rather strong smell of sewage in the outside bar area and particularly obtuse bar maid, luckily exception to the rule as other staff were nice.

Hotel website is totally misleading. No fine dining restaurant, 30 minutes walk to beach. No food available outside set meal times which are unusual apart from breakfast, which is poor. Lunch 14.00 - 15.30 Dinner 21.00 - 22.00 !!! No porter and of course no room service. More like a modern hostal. Avoid completely unless you need to be near the Pinatar Stadium as I did.
